Following a State Of Emergency declared in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada….

Ottawa police dismantled a logistics camps on Sunday night used by truckers and their supporters where they could assemble fuel and materials, just hours after the city declared a state of emergency, giving it the ability to bypass normal procedures.

Police have said they have made seven arrests so far, with most charges along the lines of mischief, as well as having about 60 investigations underway as law enforcement steps up its response.

Later, a hearing will commence regarding a lawsuit calling to hear arguments in a proposed multi-million-dollar class-action lawsuit by Ottawa residents who want trucker protesters encamped downtown to stop the honking.

    Black lives matter riots with millions of dollars in damages to small businesses, fine, totally OK, for a good cause.
    Some truckers honking horns and building a soup kitchen – a threat to democracy, insurgency, terrorism etc

    The police are bound to be very uncomfortable doing this- especially as the truckers were being lauded for their services during the pandemic less than a year ago.

            But, anyway that footage of that aul lad getting manhandled – not good eh. Cops are outta control.

            I mean I know you’re supposed to show ID and the bloke with the camera is a knob not helping the situation – but I don’t think anyone is ok with someone of their fathers age being manhandled coz he didn’t show a piece of plastic.

            That’s where we are now.
