Waterford Lad Convinced His Broadsheet Comments Make A Difference

Ulick “The Click” Magee, 37, from Cleaboy Road, in Waterford city, remains adamant that his anti-vax and pro-Canadian Freedom Convoy comments on Broadsheet.ie are eagely awaited by the remaining 23 readers of the self-proclaimed news for the bewildered website.

Magee spends 18 hours a day posting as many comments as possible about COVID regulations, supported by his random video clips of people falling over and links to obscure Facebook pages and websites in Russia.

Condemning the COVID virus as a hoax to ensure journalists don’t have to do any real work, Magee said, “I definitely make a difference in influencing Irish public opinion.”

Citing scientific facts from Twitter users with no profile pictures and 8 followers, Magee said he was proud of his selfless acts of sharing public information to warn the Irish public of the threat to bodily integrity and civil liberties. “I don’t post comments lightly on Broadsheet.ie. It’s not like I’m doing it for the good of my health and purely for the benefit of the same six regulars to pile on with their tuppence worth”, he said.

“Do people think it’s easy sitting here on the couch into the early morning with my slabs of cans? My middle finger is worn out pressing the F5 key to refresh the screen so I can get in first and counter the COVID scamdemic merchants”, Magee said solemnly. “Our civil liberties and human rights are being trampled on. It’s starts with masks and vaccine mandates, and before you know it, the State passes a law preventing me from going down to Centra at 2 O’clock in the afternoon in my pyjamas to buy a carton of milk and cigarettes.”

Waterford lad grossly underestimates Broadsheets popularity

      January 22 stats*

      Visits 611k (+52%)
      Unique Visitors 77.7k (+32%)

Plenty of lurkers here as the remaining 22 of us can’t be pressing refresh THAT much ;p

There’s life in the old bewildered girl yet…

It was early January when TenPin Terry made his first appearance in this venerable institution.

I can help wondering how differently the Irish media would react if the totalitarian crackdown by Justin Trudeau had, instead, been authorised by Donald Trump.
Banks are allowed to freeze personal and business accounts on the mere suspicion of involvement with the protest, without obtaining a court order.
Police, intelligence agencies and banks are authorised to share ‘relevant information’.
And the Canadian government can force businesses (such as tow trucks) to provide services against their will.
The Irish Times dismisses the convoy as full of ‘ white nationalists, indigenous rights campaigners, Confederate flag-wavers, imported Trumpites, and even crypto currency supporters ‘
Famed liberal columnist Fintan O’Toole hasn’t considered the Draconian attack on personal liberties worthy of his attention –
he’d be parading down O’Connell Street wearing nothing but a thong made of nettles and whipping himself blood raw with a thorn stick if it was Orange Man Bad was putting the boot in.

          1. bisted

…just do Giggser…I’ve tried to explain but none of my explanations seem to be the answer you want…irrational, I know…a bit like you and muslims…

          2. GiggidyGoo

Try harder. Hating the religion means you hate all protestants? I’d love to know the intelligent reasoning you have for that.
Link to the muslims quip please?

    1. TenPin Terry

      Why don’t you ?
Or are you so cretinously dumb you can’t think for yourself ?

I remember when Leo came up with his brilliant and innovative slogan, ‘Welfare cheats cheat us all’, or when the government suggested that people should maybe have to show some ID in order to be handed over free money, many on the ‘Sheet were losing their collective ….breakfasts over the notion of any checks and balances to the welfare system.

Now that we have another case of welfare fraud, that went on for 33 years, where the cheat stole half a million quid from the taxpayer, I hope that they have seen the error of their ways.

Bank accounts now frozen in Canada even though the emergency powers do not come into effect until approved by both houses of parliament- so they must be making such calls off their own bat, which could leave them open to some serious claims.

Trudeau is asking for the senate to sit on Friday for an emergency meeting as he has only seven sitting days to ram this through. A run on the banks appear to have started already.

What the hell is happening to Canada’s banks right now?

Who needs terrorists when you have a PM like that at the helm eh?

    1. Johnny

What do you think happened last nite between 5-6 pm,or do you not understand the link ?

What run on what banks – it amazes me your allowed platform such complete and utter rubbish.

    2. SOQ

Not one world leader has condemned Trudeau and their silence speaks volumes. That means the only thing between him and his dictatorship is us.
      So be it..

Although- India’s Ambassador to Canada Deepak Vohra had a good swipe.

Search for video/Ajqj2tesrMdf/ on bitchute as it appears to be blocked, or at least lagging- no comment number returned.

      1. Johnny

Have you ever been to Canada – do you even know the names and size of the banking institutions you reference as ….

‘A run on the banks appear to have started already. “

You made that up,again,it’s pathological and completely totally untrue.

Yeah sure a news site for liars.

          1. Johnny

I don’t log in from NY/LA to wade through the lies and BS of a wannabe yank right wing conspiracy nut, based in Tallaght.
Enjoy-you and your lies have ruined the sheet for me,it’s a disaster zone of hysterical lying MAGA nonsense, from ticktock FFS.

Real Estate expert with years of experience in Paris, making bank living the Parisian life, confounded by dysfunctional irish housing mkt,I take it your were in the Airbnb or short term letting end the business?

…. there is just just no way anyone in RE could have predicted or seen what was coming in Ireland, never mind a international expert in the field,it’s not like anyone could see there were no houses getting built….

I have no idea about tallaght was there once,to visit the square, never went back.

Better cancel my 9 am with TD Bank – Toronto Dominion-or will there be long lines outside of desperate customers, frantic, manically trying to get ahead of the “run” on Canadian Banks, what a lot of total bollo….
Every post of his on US/Canada is riddled with basic deliberate factual errors, hysterical hyperbole and just goddam lies.

          1. andrew

To be honest, I doubt there’s many that actually read the rambling nonsense he spouts. I genuinely feel sorry for him. Imagine living that life.

          2. Johnny

Im actually a Canadian citizen, who skis in Whistler, has summered at the lakes in Muskoa, lived in Toronto- Yorkville-bank with TD and pre covid, visited Vancouver / TO frequently for work and to visit friends.

I don’t think he’s even been to Canada-yet has posted daily on a few hundred vagrants and deadbeats, right wing conspiracy nuts, who for now live in their old trucks and cars/vans, beat up RV’s in Ottawa.

….for some reason despite never been there and based in Tallaght he’s become a expert on Canada,it’s politics and now it’s banking sector, all from Tallaght and tick-tock – wow !

          3. Micko

Nothing personal, but good luck with the revolution, just be prepared for the outcome of responsibility afterwards.

Meanwhile in Australia, police have confirmed that a sonic weapon called LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Devices) was used against protestors, which included children.

    https://xyz.net.au/2022/02/australian-federal-police-used-sound-weapon-on-canberra-convoy-protesters/

There have been claims that this technology can cause permanent hearing damage, and that they are indiscriminate, meaning pointed in a general direction rather than at a single individual.

Rubber bullets up north seems tame in comparison to this stuff.

      1. SOQ

The problem with the world is that intelligent people are full of doubt, while the stupid ones are full of confidence- Charles Bukowski.

    1. SOQ

OK so it appears that since that statement was made- most of the firearms have been recovered, which inself is an interesting development.

I think it is fair to assume that Daniel Bullford’s sources were pretty legit so who knows what shenanigans were going on in the background.
