Care to comment on the pensions shortfall in the cesspit that is the Credit Union finances? Aren’t you a director?

        1. Mad

I’d be disappointed if you put yourself forward for election and hadn’t raised such an elephant in the room as being a live issue? What’s the point in having financial experts like you on the board, then?

A mere 142 mild deaths in the UK yesterday about 195 mild deaths here in the last two weeks…

But the real question is how many people have been diagnosed with VAIDS in the last week???

Also, all dáil committee hearings should now be held in a pub and end in a good physical row… it’s what the public wants… and it’s what much of the public deserves…

Happy Sunday, hope you all eat pancakes!

The rehabilitation of Eddie “buy gold and don’t vote for the Shinners” Hobbs… it’s a beautiful story…

To paraphrase Beckett for this nouveau tiger age – con, con again, con better…

Ottawa heating up- tear gas yesterday, most likely rubber bullets and probably LRAD today- people already walking around with ear plugs and some with gas masks- snipers on roof tops.

Police have been instructed not to hug protestors which really means to not allow protestors to hug them. This single instruction reveals the absolute absurdity of Trudeau’s behaviour, and the symbology should not be lost.

Declaring a nation emergency and suspending civil liberties over what are essentially bylaws infractions, mainly noise and parking related issues, on a few streets in one city, is being questioned even by those who disagree with the actual protests.

Meanwhile coming out of the US is an interesting set of tweet from Rep. Yvette Herrell.

Justin Trudeau’s heavy-handed crackdown against peaceful protesters in Canada is not the action of a Western Democracy, but that of an authoritarian regime like Venezuela…

Just as we provide asylum for political prisoners, we should do the same for truckers who have been subjected to violence, had their property confiscated, and their bank accounts frozen by a government that is quickly becoming the embarrassment of the free world.

I am introducing legislation that would temporarily grant asylum to innocent Canadian protesters who are being persecuted by their own government. We cannot be silent as our neighbors to the north are treated so badly.

    https://twitter.com/RepHerrell/status/1495074598832021509

So there you have it- a proposal to offer Canadian citizens political asylum in the US- who would have imagined such a possibility even two weeks ago?

    1. scottser

Protesters in republican states usually get shot, arrested, disenfranchised, disappeared.
I would take her blend of showboating and hypocrisy with a large pinch of salt.

        1. scottser

Whataboutery instead of acknowledgement that herrell’s motives are cynically opportunist? Really? You don’t think she’s up to her bottom in the great reset? Sucking on that wef langer for all she’s worth in the cause of killing democracy??
          Man you’re naive.

          1. SOQ

I have no idea- I never heard of the woman before now. I do know that the proposal to provide political asylum to Canadians is coming from a number of sources in the US however

Why you are so willing to question her motives but not those of the person who is actually doing this disgusting stuff, is something only you can answer of course.

      1. SOQ

That does not surprise me at all.

What is even more worrying is that not one single leader, including our own, has spoken out against what is going on in Canada- absolute deafening silence.

        1. Chris

They’ve all signed up to the same club. This Totalitarian social credit system is on the way for the rest of the west, unless it faces stiff opposition.

What is more worrying is the complete lack of either awareness or the active compliance from the opposition parties. That a large segment of society are also unreachable, compounds issues. Hopefully, the ‘virus’ fear induced trance lifts & people stop blindly trusting & start questioning.

        2. Kali

That’s a good point SOQ. The papers were calling for impeachment for Trump daily for far less. The same was true for pussy riot and Russia. But when a media darling like Tredau goes tyrant overnight, there’s not a peep from our freedom loving media.

“A freedom of information request to the TGA (Australian version of the FDA) just released confirms that they had no idea how to assess an mRNA therapy product.”

“I am unable to continue to process your request because the documents you have requested do not exist”

So, the exact same scenario as the UKs MHRA :

That they were trying to hide the documents for 75 years should tell you all you need to know. It is set to be the biggest medical scandal of our life times.

    https://consentfactory.org/2022/02/20/the-naked-face-of-new-normal-fascism/

“In other words, we need to make GloboCap (and its minions) go openly totalitarian … because it can’t. If it could, it would have done so already. Global capitalism cannot function that way. Going openly totalitarian will cause it to implode … no, not global capitalism itself, but this totalitarian version of it. In fact, this is starting to happen already. It needs the simulation of ‘reality,’ and ‘democracy,’ and ‘normality,’ to keep the masses docile. So we need to attack that simulation. We need to hammer on it until it cracks, and the monster hiding within in appears. That is the weakness of the system … New Normal totalitarianism will not work if the masses perceive it as totalitarianism, as a political/ideological program, rather than as a response to a deadly pandemic.”

Edgelord Sara keeping it realz. Good work there. Soooo edgy

Father of four and only 39. What a tragic loss. RIP

      1. Sara

He was anti-LGBT, anti-Irish language act, he believed in creationism, he thought all Catholics were going to hell, he despised Muslims, and didn’t like people from the African Continent (unless they were white South Africans). He opposed women’s reproduction rights, was a member of the Orange Order, and believed that the UDA weren’t bad people. Yeah, a lovely guy. His kids will be better off not having that type of person to warp their personalities.

        1. Micko

So because the thoughts in his head were different to the ones in yours, you’re glad he’s dead.

          Absolutely mental.

          1. Sara

No, because his politics caused harm to the LGBT, Catholic, Black, and Immigrant Communities. Because he voted against everything that meant anything to these communities. He was a a hateful, spiteful man. A Ulster supremacist, intent on keeping the North in the dark ages.

          2. Micko

            No idea Mad.

I lost her in a poker game last week

Fecker beat me on the River… the RIVER!

Don’t feel bad for me though. My new mail order bride arrives next week.

          3. scottser

In fairness micko, those thoughts didn’t just stay in his head. He worked tirelessly to make them a reality to the detriment of peace and stability in the north.

          4. Micko

I know practically nothing about him.

Just read his bio there. He was elected 5 times!

He musta been doin something right – for someone*

I was just coming from “the father of four who died at 39 and wasn’t… ye know Hitler”angle. ;-)

So the Covid’s caught up with old Liz
At a time when her life’s in a tiz:
    One son stand’s accused
    Of selling gongs to Mahfouz
While the other one scatters his jizz.

Is she welcoming then into her district ?

Do you even know where is it,ever been…..

Duh- Trudeau truthers are just so hackneyed, crass and old,it’s so debunked and no longer even utilized except by arriviste’s and know nothings to Canada,

-On 27 November 2016, two days after Castro’s death was announced, a user on the Donald Trump subreddit /r/The_Donald presented a theory that Justin Trudeau, the son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, was actually the love child of Fidel Castro and Margaret Trudeau-

    Get some new material.

Credit Suisse leak unmasks criminals, fraudsters and corrupt politicians:

    https://www.theguardian.com/news/2022/feb/20/credit-suisse-secrets-leak-unmasks-criminals-fraudsters-corrupt-politicians

“…They include a human trafficker in the Philippines, a Hong Kong stock exchange boss jailed for bribery, a billionaire who ordered the murder of his Lebanese pop star girlfriend and executives who looted Venezuela’s state oil company, as well as corrupt politicians from Egypt to Ukraine. One Vatican-owned account in the data was used to spend €350m (£290m) in an allegedly fraudulent investment in London property that is at the centre of an ongoing criminal trial of several defendants, including a cardinal…”

        1. Fearganainm

You must be gutted that Mohammed A. Salameh, Nidal Ayyad, Mahmud Abouhalima, Ahmad Ajaj and Timothy James McVeigh messed it up for people who just wanted to leave trucks lying around anywhere that they pleased. If he were still alive would you be backing a GoFundMe for Mario Buda?

    1. Doxxy Chainsaw

Mooseknuckles have speculated a lot of rubbish lately, just ask Roberta Paulsen! Come back when it’s more than speculation.

I’m reluctant to say this but there really is a limit to how much gin-soaked sunbathing a fellow can take in one day.
I think what’s needed tomorrow is what my old chum Nigel Farage calls a PFL – a Proper Fupping Lunch.
    A three bottler.
The first done with the amuse-bouche.
The second over the hors d’oeuvres.
Then it’s a long, slow glide path into a mellow whatever comes next.
What a glorious way to start the new week.

It’s a sad day indeed when Thin Taillight Thierry appears the most sensible and sober fellow on here …

  11. TenPin Terry

    Oh you poor thing.
Monitoring Broadsheet all day so you can instantly reply to my only post of the day with your only post of the day.
    At 9.30pm at night.
That is the very definition of someone living a sad life.
Unless, of course, you monitor BS all day every day anyway.
Sometimes I can go for hours without posting a comment yet you then manage to respond within one minute of my posting with a copy and paste answer.
    Very strange behaviour.
    And a bit creepy.
