I’ve always thought of the Moggster as a man of great taste.

Actually the £789million tent on the Thames is generally considered to be a monument to the hubris of Tony Blair and New Labour rather than modern Blighty.
However, in other matters, I was called away from my poolside gin and tonton duties yesterday by Mrs TenPin to witness a phenomenon of Storm Eunice.
In case you missed it hundreds of thousands of hunkered down Brits and many more worldwide were tuning into the live YouTube channel of Big Jet TV and its exuberant and knowledgeable cameraman/commentator Jerry Dyer filming dozens of jets attempting and in some cases abandoning landing at Heathrow.
By the end of a storm-battered day he’d gone from unknown nerd to being interviewed on national TV news.
If you really want to use Storm Eunice as a metaphor then this chap, triumphing in the face of adversity, perfectly sums up the spirit of our neighbours on the mainland.
Riveting stuff in its own strange way.
Marvellous™
Walter Mitty and his, ahem, poolside gin. Ha haaaa.
No doubt parked his Valter Witty bubble car on some back street in Hounslow in order to avoid parking charges at Heathrow, thinking on-street parking was cheaper, but forgetting the need to pay the parking daily.
Pip pip.
Have you an app as well to confirm your Walter Mitty story at the start of lockdowns when you were trying to tell us that you were aware of a number of pubs selling out of date beer – you quickly ran away from that one when it as pointed out to you that the breweries covered the costs of unused beer due to pubs closing because of covid?

A lot happening in Ottawa, but tumbleweed in the legacy media as usual.
Police said they had a secuirty ring around the zone but people didn’t seem to have any problem getting in last night. Some of the police strutting around armed to the teeth- against the most peaceful group in history, who have not thrown a single rock. Gas masks are being worn already and word of LRAD equipment spotted. It is now pretty obvious why the Ottawa police chief resigned,
The police have already been heavy-handed with a veteran in hospital suffering from internal bleeding and images of a group of women being pepper sprayed doing the rounds. Also horrendous videos of an old lady being trampled underfoot by horses, but no word on how she is doing.
Given that none of the tow companies want to get involved, they appear to bought a dozen or so tow trucks which at a couple of hundred grand a piece, is a fair bill all of its own.
It’s not so much General Custer’s last stand as General Trudeau’s, and the protestors demands have now moved from removal of restrictions, to removal of Trudeau. The bizarre tweet from @CanadaFP on Wednesday is most likely an attempt to disassociate him from Cuba. Parentage question aside, it is quite obvious that his family was quite close to Castro- which in a situation like this, is not a great look.
Reinforcement protestors have arrived, or are promised to arrive, with a convoy from Quebec last night and tradesmen today. 20 000 trades is the number cited so time will tell- but even if they all do, it would be near impossible to count.
Its on the homepage of RTE news, Irish times and Guardian but don’t let that stop you.
SOQ
Point me to one of those reports which has covered all or even most of the above? And I am pretty sure there is a lot more going on than I have gleamed.

There’s a Bob Odenkirk interview in the Guardian where he discusses his heart attack:
“It was not a total surprise: he had seen two cardiologists in 2018 and been told he had the beginnings of coronary heart disease. One told him to start medication straight away; the other – who did more extensive tests – said he didn’t need it.”
Dr. Bodger however knew better though and gave him a clean bill of health: “It was the vax. Healthy people don’t just fall down on movie sets”
Micko
“Healthy people don’t just fall down on movie sets”
Alec Baldwin joke incoming ;-)
U N M U T U A L
In fairness Micko, I think the survival rate for catching the covid or having the jab is marginally higher than working on an alec baldwin movie set…
George
there was one I just didn’t include it.
SOQ
It may not be a question of either / or.
Because someone had an underlying heart condition does not mean the vaccine did not contribute to his or her current problems. This is the reason why some people have been advised to not take the vaccines at all- and not just for heart conditions. Even some of those people with no known health conditions may have had a hidden one, and the vaccine may have brought it forward. That is still a vaccine injury or death of course.
Just like CoVid-19, the only real way of accessing the impact is the increase in overall figures. If there is a spike or even gradual increase after those injections, then it is highly likely that the vaccines were a contributing factor. It’s the whole from / with thing all over again.
The Guardian has become a shadow of its former self, now it’s publishing all the msm lies and conflations. See Off-Guardian for more honest reporting and less fabricated lies. You’re welcome ,,,,,, to the monkey house.

You think the Guardian is making things up in an interview with Bob Odenkirk? Why would he allow them to?

The disabled woman who was trampled upon by mounted police yesterday in Ottawa has reportedly died of her injuries.
In this photo a moment after, she can be seen lying on the ground still holding her mobility scooter. The Ottawa police actually had to gall to try to spin the scene as follows: “as this was happening, a bicycle was thrown at the feet of one of the horses in an attempt to injure it”. But there’s clearly no bicycle there, only the woman’s mobility scooter. https://twitter.com/TheMarieOakes/status/1494838672662970371
f_lawless
Here’s footage of the incident, as the mounted police plough through the crowd with no signs of provocation
An error (if true) does not take away from the disgusting behaviour of the police which you ignore in your post. Stop trying to minimise this shocking attack on citizens.
Fearganainm
In some online sources (guess how reliable they are?), claims are being made that ‘the dead woman’ was named Roberta Paulsen/Paulson.
How long is it since the oft-repeated 4chan gag “His name was Robert Paulson” rippled around the Internet as a means of (falsely) identifying mass killers/victims/perpetrators etc.?
Almost as long as ‘Roberta Paulson’ became its female 4chan equivalent. It would appear that some people still aren’t ‘doing their research’ properly.
Apparently those horses are trained to trample over people- Trudeau really is an idiot if he thinks these sorts of actions are in anyway going to change public opinion- if anything the opposite.
Fearganainm
It was two women, actually, as seen on the footage that was posted on Broadsheet minutes after it actually happened.
That video does not identify the gender of the individual nor her identity.
Fearganainm
The video with the voiceover saying “They just trampled that lady” doesn’t identify gender?
Riiiiight.
f_lawless
@Fearganainm
All I can say is the callous response and lack of emotion to footage of a vulnerable woman with a disability being trampled upon by mounted police, points to someone who is not in a healthy state of mind. The dehumanising language you’ve used is another indication of this: eg “a shower of trash being cleaned off the streets”.
When it’s gotten to that point, maybe it’s time to turn off the internet for a long while and begin a period of self-reflection – would be my recommendation.
Fearganainm
@ f_lawless
I don’t shed any tears over deluded people who’ve been warned on multiple occasions to move on or face the consequences. The cops have been very patient with the rabble and presumably those who are opting to remain in places that they’ve been told to vacate have evaluated the risk to themselves.
As a member of the reality-challenged community yourself, as well as being a purveyor of fake news and misinformation, maybe you’ll understand why any recommendation from you is greeted with howls of derisive laughter.

Zero sympathy for him and his ilk from me. While I understand those who celebrate him offing himself as something of a cost saver it appears that he was arguing to the last that he was some kind of hard done by innocent. I’d prefer if he was left stewing for as long as possible with the prospect of eventually being forced to confront the reality of the things he did and the life he lived. As it stands he’s gone out on his own terms and dodged the full weight of exposure that a trial would have subjected him to.
Plus, his knowledge of others involved and potential to name names dies with him.

I’d say it’s more a case of others knowing the truth than their own discomfort with the truth.

A spokesperson for the Ottawa protesters explains everything:
“Leaked documents reveal Tory donors given access to Boris Johnson’s top team during pandemic as part of secret ‘advisory board’. They included an ex-Putin minister’s wife, an alleged rapist invited after police interview, four billionaires…”
February 18th, 2022 – Efficacy of Ivermectin treatment on disease progression among adults with mild to moderate COVID-19 and comorbidities
“In this randomized clinical trial of high-risk patients with mild to moderate COVID-19, ivermectin treatment during early illness did not prevent progression to severe disease. The study findings do not support the use of ivermectin for patients with COVID-19.”
Did Ivermectin prevent progression to serious disease? i.e. the objective of the study.
You can spin your ‘logic’ to argue that Ivermectin actually increased the risk of patients developing severe COVID-19, e.g. 52 of 241 patients (21.6%) in the Ivermectin group and 43 of 249 patients (17.3%) in the control group progressed to severe disease.
Ivermectin is bad for your head, look what it’s done to it.
Chris
I’ve never taken it. As for progression to serious disease, it’s known that IVM is most effective when taken early, no one disputes this.
As for the ‘jabs’ – time will tell. They’ve already caused more injuries and deaths than all post 50s ‘vaccination’ programs combined. Medium to long term effects are still to be established, but I really wouldn’t like to be a member of that particular ‘control group’.
f_lawless
Imagine taking pleasure in the notion that a study diminishes hope for populations in developing countries of getting access to a cheaply produced, potentially life-saving treatment for Covid. A normal response might be to feel a sense of disappointment at the apparent result. You’re a full-blown internet casualty.
Dr Clare Craig, UK Consultant Pathologist:
“Even on an underpowered study, when analysed correctly (see end of thread) Ivermectin had a statistically significant positive impact…”
No, you’ve been played. The data doesn’t lie, but the interpreters & fact checkers most certainly do. You just lack the cognizance to be aware of the fact.

“India ranks 3rd worldwide for pharmaceutical production by volume and 14th by value. The country has an established domestic pharmaceutical industry, with a strong network of 3,000 drug companies and ~10,500 manufacturing units.”
As for the John Campbell comment- just go away you absolutely clueless tool.
Fearganainm
A clueless tool is precisely what you are. To be more specific, you’re a gullible tool who constantly trails misinformation in here and who seems to have no inkling of how to fact check anything.
You’ve been at the same game throughout the Covid-19 health issue.
It doesn’t take many searches to come across serious criticisms of Campbell’s errors, misinformation, misreadings and general decline in accuracy or objectivity. Even his Wikipedia entry has to carry references to the misinformation that he’s promoted.
And quite what point you think your article about India and Pfizer makes is unclear – it certainly doesn’t alter that fact that India is a massive player in the global pharmaceutical industry. A ‘no’ to one firm while ‘yes’ is being given elsewhere to others only speaks to drug regulations in India, not resistance to vaccines.
And your oft-repeated and equally oft-refuted rubbish about Uttar Pradesh remains what it always was – utter raiméis. Which is not surprising considering the sources where you find the majority of your misinformation.
Itemise John’s Campbell’s “errors, misinformation, misreadings and general decline in accuracy or objectivity.” please? Even the BBC got a bloody nose when they tried to “fact check” him.
But you won’t now will you, because all you do is spoof and smear- then again, that is obviously what you are employed to do. The problem is, you are not very good at it.
Oh- and your support of Trudeau is duly noted.
Johnny
You spread widely know laughable smears daily, your posts are garbage, amazes me a so called news site allows it?
-The first time Castro and the Trudeaus met face-to-face was a famous trip made by the Canadian couple to Cuba in 1976.-
Every post is filled with basic stupid deliberate false statements and lies.
Justin Trudeau was born on 25 December 1971.
Why bother posting at all ?
Fearganainm
Do your own (proper) research on retired nurse educator John Campbell, lately taken to YouTubing for a hobby. You can’t fail to find numerous challenges to his misinformation, misreadings of statistics, innaccuracies and other blunders of interpretation. The BBC got no bloody nose when it fact checked his recent tripe about ‘actual Covid deaths’ did it? Even the UK’s own Office of National Statistics, which he was using as the basis for his nonsense claims, was sufficiently annoyed by his misinformation to issue a statement refuting it. ‘Highly misleading’ was the term used, and you can count yourself among the ‘highly misled’.
As for your Trudeau fixation – more evidence of your failure when it comes to logic.
Lack of support for a rabble which has racists and fascists among its leading lights and which has links of any kind to, or support from, such creatures does not equate to support for any particular politician or government coalition etc. Opposing such trash is automatic, wherever they are. Such people are not and never will be ‘the answer’ to any social or political problems anywhere on earth.
You parade your inability to critically examine facts constantly. It’s possibly your continued use of trash sources coupled with repeated failures to establish any kind of logical flow that has you drowning in a sea of non sequiturs.
GiggidyGoo
“ Lack of support for a rabble which has racists and fascists among its leading lights and which has links of any kind to, or support from, such creatures does not equate to support for any particular politician or government coalition etc. ”

Amazon removes BLM over fraud, transparency issues
Black Lives Matter has been removed from the charity platform of Amazon as state investigations ramp up over fraud issues. Shoppers on AmazonSmile will no longer be able to select BLM as their charity.
The decision comes after BLM leaders failed to disclose where up to $60 million came from or has been spent. Observers say investigators in California, Washington State believe it is an attempt to hid fraud and the possible pocketing of the money by BLM leaders.

This, in the light of Former Limerick hurling All-Star Ciarán Carey’s claims that there is a veritable epidemic of cocaine use/abuse, notwithstanding the known addiction of gambling, highly prevalent in GAA players lives.
The gambling and alcohol abuse, sure – I was aware, within the GAA. The convicted Crossmaglen Rangers centre half back, Daniel O’Callaghan’s team-mate, Oisín McConville made his own gambling addiction very public. Also, from my own county, Tyrone, a great GAA player, I won’t mention his name, but, he appeared in a couple of gay porn videos in London to pay for his gambling habit.
From a different era, it was booze., Kids have heros, super heroes, mine was Frank McGuigan. He was special, The Dubs have Jimmy Keavney, Kerry – Jack O’Shea – they all had problems with booze. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m07it4_evog In 1984, the centenary of The GAA, we, Tyrone could have marked it with winning our first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. Frank celebrated too much, drove his car into a wall, drunk. He never played again, needless, without, “The King” we were thrashed by Dublin in the Semi – Kerry won that year.
Getting back to my point of disappointment of a GAA member, could it be, it’s nothing to do with addiction, perhaps, he’s a guy who stole a lot of cash? The way Shayna sees it… no crime is without a victim, he (they) stole machinery, destroyed premises in rural areas, North and South of “The Border” – post office/oifig an phoist – kinda not cool!

Good luck with that. Dimwits long term parking.

“Healthy people don’t just fall down on movie sets”
Alec Baldwin joke incoming ;-)
In fairness Micko, I think the survival rate for catching the covid or having the jab is marginally higher than working on an alec baldwin movie set…
there was one I just didn’t include it.
Still making up nonsense George. Which colour lenses do you see the world through? I’m guessing none which explains the shortsightedness.
I quoted the Guardian and I quoted Bodger. I didn’t make up anything.
The Guardian has become a shadow of its former self, now it’s publishing all the msm lies and conflations. See Off-Guardian for more honest reporting and less fabricated lies. You’re welcome ,,,,,, to the monkey house.

@Fearganainm
@ f_lawless
I don’t shed any tears over deluded people who’ve been warned on multiple occasions to move on or face the consequences. The cops have been very patient with the rabble and presumably those who are opting to remain in places that they’ve been told to vacate have evaluated the risk to themselves.

The study findings do not support the use of ivermectin for patients with COVID-19.”
https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamainternalmedicine/fullarticle/2789362
Chuckle
IVM – 70% reduction in deaths vs 23% with the ‘vaccines’ https://twitter.com/JikkyKjj/status/1494899270323150851?s=20&t=zR5iF8JYpeupAgFH-2NAUg
Chuckle indeed.
Imagine taking pleasure in the notion that a study diminishes hope for populations in developing countries of getting access to a cheaply produced, potentially life-saving treatment for Covid. A normal response might be to feel a sense of disappointment at the apparent result. You’re a full-blown internet casualty.
For what it’s worth, differing expert opinion (which incidently makes reference to Chris’ link above):

No, you’ve been played. The data doesn’t lie, but the interpreters & fact checkers most certainly do. You just lack the cognizance to be aware of the fact.
Funded by the Malaysian government whom like the rest will not admit that any early intervention protocols work, because that would leave them liable. But of course we can all produce studies but the real question is, why are you so keen to prove it doesn’t?

You’re hilarious.
And John Campbell, a known misinformation merchant? You sure know how to pick ’em!
https://www.reuters.com/article/health-coronavirus-india-pfizer-idUSKBN2A50GE
As for the John Campbell comment- just go away you absolutely clueless tool.
Which is not surprising considering the sources where you find the majority of your misinformation.
https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/there-is-no-scientific-basis-for-claims-of-ivermectins-success-in-uttar-pradesh-india/

“ Lack of support for a rabble which has racists and fascists among its leading lights and which has links of any kind to, or support from, such creatures does not equate to support for any particular politician or government coalition etc. ”
Trudeau and his Blackface. There’s your racism.
And fascism? Definition. ‘ dictatorial power, forcible suppression, etc’ Trudeau once again. You’re quite correct.
Blondieeeee…
Trudeau is just another wet wipe. He’s not capable of being elevated to the status of some kind of superbaddie because he’s too much of a wimp for that.
The removal of the protesters was, in the main, a few episodes of excessive force notwithstanding, handled with kid gloves.

I’m only half surprised it took them this long.
Can they choose Canadian Truckkkers as their charity?
Unfortunately not, thanks to Fidel Trudeau.

Purdue Pharma owners willing to pay up to $6bn to settle opioid suits:

The Sackler family cartel offers to cough up a little more.
To add insult to injury to The GAA, Shayna (paid up member of local club) was disappointed to learn of the 3 times All-Ireland Club Champion’s conviction. https://www.irishnews.com/news/northernirelandnews/2022/02/19/news/former-gaa-all-ireland-football-club-champion-convicted-of-theft-in-gang-atm-raids-2592775/e
‘Ang abou..’ – as they say in Sarf Eas Landin, Shayna added a corrective apostrophe, somehow my post got doubled? Perhaps comments related to The GAA are of double importance? (Joke).
Shayna, double post removed!
Fearganainm thinks he is doing some kind of public service here but arguing with these fools serves no purpose
