    a rambling vague snowflakey 20 mins of sour grape…roughly translated it seemed to me to be like:
    “I didn’t like the job, they didn’t put their arm around me when I was having my personal private troubles, they didn’t throw me a reveal party…etc”

    poor Sarah sounded fairly flummoxed…I was certainly none the wiser about any specific issue(s) afterwards…20 min general whinge

      She had a whole article in the journal too. What surprised me, was that she was all “Sinn Fein are awful and treated me awful.. but I’ll still keep the TD job”. If you were another SF TD, how do you work along side her when she’s in every paper and radio show across the land dragging the party, but not leaving it??

    I have never voted for any of these clowns ever, but voting SF was on the cards at a moment in time, I was naïve, once.

    Then when Muammar Ghadaffi needed support, from the people that he had armed and supported in the struggle, SF voted with the government to bomb Libya. What terrible cowardly people to have as friends, not even having the courage of conviction to abstain. My contempt for that act of cowardice is such, that if they come round my gaffe canvassing, I will remind them of their poor track record. Last thing they will hear is “feck off before I let the dogs out”

        Never vote, you’ll only encourage the clowns. Ghadafi was one of the best for his people. Not like most of the worlds venal, self-serving crooks we have to suffer under.

            …nah…crooked Hillary was never President…she defied all the polls and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory…lost to Trump…she was, however, Secretary of State during the Obama/Biden years…how many regimes did she manage to topple…how many innocent children did she kill…the world truly dodged a bullet when she didn’t get her finger on the button…

            I don’t think she – or the Obama administration to be accurate, but weirdly your hate focuses on one particular woman – overthrew any regimes, just provided air cover for populist revolts against tyrannical regimes. Not a good idea, I thought at the time, but I doubt her dead-child count matches Assad/Putin’s. It’s pretty clear your ‘dodged a bullet’ is synonymous with ‘dodged someone who would be mean to Putin’ since you never expressed any interest in how many children Trump murdered.

            Your response is an ignorant and uninformed one. If you knew any Lybians, which I do, both pro and anti Ghadaffi, they would laugh at you. Lybia under Ghadaffi was one of the wealthiest per capita country on the contitent, He lifted the population out of the poverty that existed under the previous western backed regime. Democracy doesn’t work in some cultures, doesn’t even work that well here where big business has coopted power from the elected. Go away and read some books Nigel, your responses reek of fear and a single minded kind of blindness to any divergent opinion so you resort to name calling and attempts to diminish the value of my discourse. Just look at Lybia now with all your western intervention and democratic wonderfulness.

            What am I revising? I was against the interventions at the time, and they were a disaster. But I didn’t oppose them because Ghadaffi helped the Ra or Assad/Putin were my heroes.

            So what? he was an autocratic dictator with secret police and torture chambers and he funded terrorism here in our own country, directed against our nearest neighbour. I opposed the war in Iraq, too, but I never had to valorise Saddam while doing so.
