Sadly gas & oil are also priced in USD $ not rubles – which are then recycled – that’s why they are called petro dollars & why Russia has $630 billion in reserves. Thankfully most of that is held overseas & they can’t get their hands on @ least 1/2 of it now because the Bank of Russia have been sanctioned and their Gold & CNY holdings are bugger all use for propping up the ruble – but vis a vis oil and gas it makes no odds they don’t get cheaper
Well if they do not fire up these plants again ,thanks to the war without the gas from Russia it’s going to mean massive power outages plus industrial output reduced
