Was really sad to see their larger premises on Dawson Street close (and then get demolished). Never had a bad experience there. Ended up there during a few of my dates with my now wife so definitely biased :)

there’s a jar of nutella been in my cupboard since 2012.

Nutella is like 70% sugar, I don’t know if that makes more or less likely to go off in a spectacular way.
I would imagine the palm oil goes rancid.

Started making my own after receiving a ‘fancy’ jar as an Xmas gift – there’s no comparison at all. So much so, that the little lady has gone completely off Nutella. It’s too sweet, she says.
