“name those jammers” ??? who gives a flyin fupp what cars theyre driving? It’s not posh n becks, its political staff from a country that wants to destroy the world.

*Russian rep pulls up, lies to the world about committing genocide, wiping out children, families, innocent civilians, threatens other countries with the same if they speak up, threatens nuclear war*
bodger *kicking the tyre – “nice car, man. what’s that? the 7 series? all electric is she?”

Ecclesiastical Supplies surprise attack from the rear… or Goods Inwards?
        ;-)

‘a country that wants to destroy the world’

I think your understating the evil intent. They actually want to destroy (holds pinky to mouth a la Dr Evil) THE UNIVERSE!!!

    2. Darrens

Agree completely with the first commenter regards the model of car … also it is much more interesting to note the eccliastical services truck

    Pro America, not pro Ukraine.

If you can not see this is a petrodollar war you are blind.

Ukraine is just a puppet caught in the middle.

      How right you are!
This is b1oody mass hysteria, lunatic stuff.
This is one other war among many wars, nothing essentially different about it and ALL wars are nasty with the common people paying in blood and tears.
Speaking of lunacy, my own little theory is that the best chance of what passes for ‘world peace’ is to re-elect Trump – I know, be careful what you wish for and all that! I do believe that Putin was wary of playing hard-ball when Trump was in power because, while hard-ball is predictable with a doddering old fool, it ain’t advisable with a ravin’ lunatic …

As usual the oinks use these things to justify their hatred
The driver should loose his licence for this for starters

  4. Hughie Luas

In fairness. Well done. Keep sending a message to Putin and keep the usual BS commenters foaming at the mouth and front of the keks.

Names of the jammers? Tough one. Is there an a Olek or a Boryslav in there somewhere?

    1. Chris

What message would that be? That a certain amount of the Irish population have become unhinged – after years of unrelenting propaganda?

Not a good look in fairness.

      1. jungleman

Lol. Not surprised to see Chris has fallen for Putin.

Can anyone explain what it is that makes certain people all of the following: pro-Putin, antivaxx, pro-climate change denial, pro-brexit, anti-trans, pro-Trump?

It intrigues me. Perhaps more intriguing is that these types can’t seem to see the pattern in themselves.

        1. Mad

Not everyone drives on the middle of the road it’s really that simple. I have grown really tired of your sneering at those with whom you disagree

          1. jungleman

You mean you’ve grown really tired of being sneered at.

You should get a new hobby so, or some sense.

        2. George

I think its because they’re bumholes lacking in empathy so they spread lies about innocent victims of a war started by an egomaniac.

          1. Mad

Such a simple minded view of the world.
I envy you a little bit at the same time I put this kind of simplemindedness down to a repressive catholic upbringing

  5. Micko

It’s all a bit crazy on here lately eh?

Bodger and Nick getting loadsa hassle

All I can say is, that anyone who can work a line from Lethal Weapon 2 into a headline is alright in my book ;-)

    Keep it up lads

        1. Steph Pinker

Micko; I didn’t get the movie reference but when it comes to actually interviewing any actor regarding speech, diction and tone I’ll settle for a compromise between Dave Fanning and Christopher Walken.

… just or future reference BS; if a tiny local radio station in Wicklow can get Matt Damon then surely you should consider Walken! Give a bribe of a Supervalu bag if need be?

    1. The Millie Obnoxious™

Yes, because people disagree with them.

If they maybe put together some sort of coherent and researched hypothesis or argument outlining their position, instead of inferring their point by posting something with little or no context, followed by hmmm or mmmf. It is too easy to misconstrue their point, whatever it may be, in the current guise, and it’s irresponsible journalism.

Like, if they have a point, then make it. Don’t do this kind of thing, it does no one any favours at all – least of all them.

      1. Bodger

Millie, I think most people get the gist of these smaller posts, but I hear you. In mitigation, there’s only two of us left here – up against a lot of propaganda – and we have published hundreds of thousands of words by others that outline our position, certainly better than I could, and have ourselves posted a 25,000-word investigation on the nursing home scandal for example.

        1. The Millie Obnoxious™

Thanks for the response Bodger, it’s appreciated.

It’s as they say, I may protest what you say but I’ll protest your right to say it. I think there’s an obligation to be responsible to what you post, and while I know you and Nick are very dedicated, I do think that putting together where you can a coherent argument (like with the nursing homes scandal or the mother and baby story) gives you a better position with which to combat the abuse you two get.

(As an aside, I didn’t know your staff numbers were so diminished. Fair play for keeping on.)

          1. TenPin Terry

How else do you think that bloomin’ Charger was able to sneak back in ?
The pair of ’em were distracted having a ruck over who gets the last chocolate Hobnob and shazam, he was in like Flynn.

          2. Chris

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.”

            Dr Marcia Angell

“A lot of what is published is incorrect.” I’m not allowed to say who made this remark because we were asked to observe Chatham House rules. We were also asked not to take photographs of slides…Why the paranoid concern for secrecy and non-attribution? Because this symposium – on the reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research… – touched on one of the most sensitive issues in science today: the idea that something has gone fundamentally wrong with one of our greatest human creations. The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness. As one participant put it, “poor methods get results” …The apparent endemicity of bad research behaviour is alarming. In their quest for telling a compelling story, scientists too often sculpt data to fit their preferred theory of the world. Or they retrofit hypotheses to fit their data… And individual scientists, including their most senior leaders, do little to alter a research culture that occasionally veers close to misconduct.”

Dr Richard Horton, editor-in-chief of the Lancet 2015

That was a bit silly. Try that on some embassies and you might get yourself shot at. Risky stuff. At least nobody hurt (but an innocent gate)….

    1. Micko

Only if they freeze the protestors ability to order a ‘Just Eat’…

      Or pay their bills

      1. E'Matty

Already these Irish protests outside the embassy have been more violent than any of the trucker protests.

        1. George

Not more violent than Putin though and you’ve no issue with that.

It take a very strange person to be more concerned about violence towards a gate than people.

    1. Fearganainm

No cheers for him. It’s not impossible that his anger partly stems from being annoyed that Russia’s actions will likely lead to more immigrants arriving in Ireland. He’s not particularly fond of immigrants being housed in certain places.

First it was the fishers, then delivery folks… my money is the chartered accountants next….

  8. scottser

We’re already on vlad’s naughty list, so fukim.
Next time I’m passing I’ll be sure to lob in a bottle of piss.

  9. White Dove

Anyone would think that great defender of children’s rights, the Irish Catholic Church, was trying to send a message to Russia. In which case Russia might be the one on the side of children’s rights… it’s so confusing!

I won’t be getting into a van with ‘Ecclesiastical Supplies’ on the side any time soon, that’s for sure!

  10. goldenbrown

can’t believe nobody bothered to give a nod to your headline there Bodger, Riggs and Murtaugh very nicely done indeed

on the incident itself would be awful unlucky if a readymix truck were to lose its 6 cubic meter load just there at the footpath dish in an unfortunate incident, let’s hope that doesn’t happen, would be fierce messy
