Dublin airport is a third-world dump at the best of times. Having to get there 3.5 hours before a flight will be like waiting in a toilet.
The single redeeming factor is the US immigration pre-clearance otherwise I try to avoid it like the plague.

The DAA is being run (into the ground) by a christian fundie, born and reared in Wicklow but puzzlingly brandishing a English accent. He was turfed out of his last gig working as CEO of Morrisons (Supermarket) in the Uk for making an absolute clusterfupp of things. Profits collapsed under his tenure. He is also the genius who wants to bring in charges for drivers dropping passengers off at the airport. Dalton Philips, an upwardly failing absurdity. Very bizarre.
What is it about Ireland employing rejects from the, not so fab, UK. Perhaps it’s because our lot don’t want to be shown up by somebody who can do a job well and leave the business in good shape when they leave. Not this nonsense of appopinting has unaccountable has beens. As Frazer in Dads Army says, “we’re all doomed, doomed I tell you”.
T2 staff can’t work in T1 , historical contact issues !! Cleaners too, they’ll clean a spill to the boarder between the two terminals and then stop !!
