Hang on.

This afternoon.

The price changed 10 minutes ago, apparently, and controlled at head office. The sales assistant said that he has seen the price change three times per day! Absolute nonsense.

Anyone?

Bodger on a roll with the Willy Wonka references today.

Now if we can only get a fat or mean kid to get involved in some sort of chocolate factory related workplace accident – we’ll have a hat trick!

when there’s no regulations, and just government “urging” private companies to be “moral” this is what happens. they’ll keep pushing until theyre stopped. and this government does NOT interfere with private companies profits. no matter what it means to the state of the country for the public. they’ve been very clear over the last decade or so that this is how it is, so its not going to change now.

    Price gouging and government powerless
Let’s just treat it like covid 19 and we see how a government can move mountains
    This must stop immediately
Teams of VAT auditors is the vaccine for this malaise

Fianna Fáil were appalling, but there was a time when they used to have half an ear out for when their electorate squealed too loudly.
Fine Gael are worse, as proved by the last 11 years of FG government; they have only ever listened to the top 5-10% of the population, along with their foreign handlers of course – be they English, EU or US.

Today FF has been completely subsumed into FG, so there is no longer any difference, apart from who gets the contracts.
