I found this really compelling viewing. A group of Mariupol residents are interviewed at a bomb shelter by a hospital where they’ve been living for several weeks. They give harrowing accounts of what they’ve had to endure at the hands of Ukraine forces who they say prevented them from evacuating the city and shot at them when they tried to do so. They say their houses have been destroyed from shelling by the Ukrainian army. A matron from the hospital, who gives her name as Olga Vladimironova, states that in the early days she witnessed fighting between Azov and other Ukrainian units, saying that eventually Azov became dominant; She states that then Ukrainian tanks arrived at the hospital and used it as a cover for to conduct military operations while using the patients and staff inside the building as “human shields”, as she puts it.

These are the kind of witness accounts that western corporate media outlets simply ignore because they don’t fit into the carefully crafted narrative.

I don’t follow – why does it seem incredible that a journalist could report from an area of Mariupol that Azov brigades have recently vacated? To my mind it’s certainly a more compelling form of reporting compared to the way the Mariupol maternity hospital was reported on by western media outlets. In the above report, we get to judge for ourselves how convincing those speaking in the video sound. Contrast that with the pregnant woman whose image was splashed across the front pages but whose testimony, taken at the time by AP reporters, never saw the light of day because it conflicted with the narrative that a Russian air strike had occurred.

      2. Dinkum

It really is considering all the pro kiev news stories have also got out
I suspect this is very similar to Gaza where the Israelis are vilified as monsters

    1. stephen moran

This is the same Patrick Lancaster who saw the Moskva cruiser being repaired in Sevastopol

I own the freehold to Butt bridge if you’re in the market for a one

    2. RuilleBuille

Numerous accounts of Azov shooting at civilians trying to leave in order to use them as cover.

Remember they shot their own protestors in 2014.

    3. Dinkum

Well Putin did say he wanted to denazifiy Ukraine
I wonder is there an element of Gaza here as israel came out the murder and now Putin is the murderer here
When zelensky sends messages to the Greek parliament including a message from a Greek aznov brigade mercenary to parents in Greece ,I honestly think zelensky could not see a nazi if he goosestepped in front of him

The media is zelenskys best weapon
But dose this justify a NATO WW3 ? No
In the absence of any media apart from TRT the Turkish outlet we are not getting balanced reports
If Ukraine is indeed full of Nazis I can see why Putin invaded especially after 8 years of eastern Ukraine shelled by kiev forces

        1. scottser

My brother in law and his family are taking in a Ukrainian lady and her 4 year old this week. I must drop over and slap her nazi face off, the dirty nazi bitch..

          1. anti bot

Hang on, let’s be clear. Russia are only invading a sovereign nation to get rid of Nazis and boi labs. They are not murdering innocent people. They are not causing millions of refugees. its all Hunter Biden’s fault. If my hero Trump, hadn’t been cheating out of the election that he actually won, this would never have happened, because Trump was being ridden by Putin.

        2. Dinkum

In all honesty Nigel if it was not for the constant attacks by Kiev forces since 2014 killing over 25 thousand Ukrainians who were at odds with the Kiev coup putin decided to just put an end to it
It was after Moscow recognised the break away areas that zelensky restarted shelling those areas and he was warned
This is complex ,and less of the insults
If these reports are true you will be pinning your colours to a neo nazi mast
We hear little reporting that opposes the view zelensky is portraying
I prefer to reserve my judgement regarding who is an idiot until both sides are heard and proven right or wrong
If there would of been no Kiev coup in 2014 I would say we would not be seeing the death and destruction we are witnessing now and of course no war

          1. Nigel

Since 2014 Kiev forces were fighting a conflict started, funded, and armed by Putin, you can keep ignoring this fact all you want, but it will not go away.

‘If these reports are true you will be pinning your colours to a neo nazi mast’

How is objecting to an unprovoked invasion that is killing thousands a neo-nazi mast except in the most fevered Russian propaganda?

‘We hear little reporting that opposes the view zelensky is portraying’

What’s the opposite view to ‘Putin invaded, Ukrainians fought back?’

‘If there would of been no Kiev coup in 2014’

Why? Because it interfered with Putin’s interference? If Putin can’t get his way with corruption and espionage, he’s entited to start a bloody war?

    4. SOQ

The steel mill story is gathering steam too. Nothing has been confirmed as yet and probably won’t be until it is cleared out but if true, is going to send shock waves round the world.

The translation of this video is underneath. It could all be propaganda of course, but there is some important reason why the helicopters and the ship tried to get in there. Time will tell.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbphxmiROmg

        1. SOQ

It is flying all over Telegram- from some reputable sources too.

But carry on, you’ll make a contribution of substance one of these days I expect.

          1. SOQ

Oh you are not sneering about YouTube these days Dolly.

You must be moving with times so- you’d be up to around 2002 then?

          2. Daisy Chainsaw

I sneer over pretty much all of the absolute balderdash you spew on here.

I wonder where you, KKKCavan and Harney got “Dolly” from? You’ve all used it and you seem to think it’s an insult, like Sad calling me a dyke and fantasising over used sex toys.

            All terribly uniform. Y/N?

          3. SOQ

No you sneer at anything and anybody that will give you a sense of superiority- a bit like what you did when your were championing the vaccine passes.

It is a clearly a want you have- which is pretty sad to be honest.

          4. Daisy Chainsaw

It’s as easy as breathing for me to have a sense of superiority where you’re concerned, my little SOQpuppet.

          5. Fearganainm

“It is flying all over Telegram- from some reputable sources too.”

From ‘reputable sources’ that include ‘Agent Smith’ and 4chan, no less. Has German Vladimirov weighed in yet?

Behold the legend of Pit 404:

            https://expmx.com/2022/04/11/bio-military-experiments-in-pit-404-a-secret-nato-biological-laboratory-30-meters-deep-under-the-azovstal-in-mariupol/

Incidentally, the Azovstal iron and steelworks lies in an industrial area covering more than 11 sq km (4.25 sq miles).

          6. SOQ

That is like picking up on 2-3 accounts on twitter and going see? I bet you don’t even have an account?

That Pit 404 story is all over the place, not just Telegram- it comes from a statement made by the Russian government- so the source of the claim is completely traceable.

          7. Fearganainm

            ‘Reputable sources’ including Pepe Escobar:

            https://twitter.com/RealPepeEscobar

            Oh no! ‘They’ got Pepe!

As for the ‘top secret’ thread on 4chan:

            https://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/372150837

            Darn! ‘They’ got it, too!

And American Lieutenant General Roger Clothier? No such military officer exists. Lieutenant General Roger L. Cloutier Jr, on the other hand, is still breezing about in Turkey.

As for Rinat Leonidovych Akhmetov, he shows no fear of facing any kind of trial at present, in fact he’s talking about helping to rebuild Mariupol:

            https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraines-richest-man-vows-rebuild-besieged-mariupol-2022-04-16/

          8. anti bot

soq / cavan, sexist pigs. He can never answer a direct challenge. A Trump supporting legend. Agrees that the killing of innocent people is acceptable.

          9. Mad

Ok then Daisy you’re not a dyke.
            Is that better?
Just a horrible little bully and sadist with a plastic coack that you’re not afraid to use and you don’t care which hole it gets inserted into?

      1. Dinkum

Nigel in 2014 a coup was staged in Kiev headed by the far right
As the demonstrations on median square pre coup was in full flight it was visited by EU politicians
Since that coup there has been the troubles in the east by those opposed to the coup in Kiev
And 25000 dead east Ukrainians we had the invasion of Ukraine by Russia

        1. Nigel

The coup was a popular revolt, not headed by the far right. Putin then started the conflict in the eastern part of Ukraine with neo-Nazi mercenaries.

    5. Nigel

Even if this isn’t just Russian proapganda, you do realise it’s still all Putin’s fault for pluunging the country into this needless conflict, right? Just as the oft-repeated line about the shelling of Donbas is his fault because he started that conflict, too? Is this really so difficult to understand?

      1. bisted

…there’s more of a reek of righteousness of your comments these days Nigel…maybe too much time spent defending the indefensible…spunout…

      2. Dinkum

Nigel It takes two to tango
Yes Putin should never of invaded but zelenskys regime certainly have a part in the blame game for creating the situation that Putin used to justify his invasion

  2. Tom

Headline in the Irish “Examiner” is sheer, blatant advocacy. Not a newspaper, a journal for political hustlers who prefer writing to canvassing.

  3. TenPin Terry

Excellent background coverage in the Daily Mail of the story behind Priti Patel’s secret two years of negotiations with Rwanda to become an offshore processing centre for migrants.
As expected their poll shows big support in Blighty for the plan including amongst Labour supporters.
The poll of more than 1,000 adults, carried out by Savanta for the Mail, found that while 47 per cent of all voters say they support the idea, just 26 per cent are against. The rest say they do not know or have no opinion.
Among those who voted Labour at the last election, 39 per cent say they support the move compared with 36 per cent who do not.
Patel tells of interest in the scheme from around Europe with Denmark also in separate negotiations with Rwanda.
This is a smart piece of politics from Box Office Boris™.

    1. V aka Frilly Keane

Polish it up with polls all you like

      It’s still human trafficking

      Money is changing hands Charage
+ Plus promises of development support for Rwanda itself
Then there’s the offer to arriving Asylum Seekers that they can settle there
      If they accept jobs ….

This is a smart piece of politics from Box Office Boris™.

      You despicable (◡ ೧೧┣

      It’s human trafficking

      1. TenPin Terry

It’s human trafficking by gangs which Blighty is trying to stamp out.
Besides, if they’re too picky about staying in France then Rwanda is meant to be nice at this time of year.
Even that great humanitarian Tony Blair thought African immigration centres a grand idea.

        Marvellous™

        1. V aka Frilly Keane

I don’t care who thinks its a good idea.
Or how convenient or efficient for the Windsor Family taxes it is.

Money of gargantuan sums will be paid by a NATO founder and G8 Country.
GB is a well recognised Coloniser, with a bloody history, including massacres, genocide, and slave trading. Which includes slave trading posts under their flag, or slave colonies if you like.

It’s Armed Forces were known for war crimes, subversion, and criminality.
          Likewise with their Police Forces.
Lying under oath is a very British thing.
In fact Britain’s current Prime Minster has actually attempted to deceive his own Monarch when – would you believe, he attempted to prologue her Government.
Great Britain considers itself a dominant force in all sorts of industry and trade. From equities to commodities, mining, travel, whatever you’re having yourself. So much so it walked away from the EU to prove this

The arrangement with Rwanda, a developing country still soaked in its own blood, is nothing less than coercion of a poor country by a dominant wealthier one.
The promise of more money and development investment is Influence
And of the very worst kind.
A larger richer Government, well riddled with servicing self interests, and appeasing a corrupt uber wealth layer of shady characters.
The Queen’s Parliament is one that values aristocracy more than democracy. It even sets a price on it by selling titles, even to a retired KGB operative.
Which reminds me … Anyone seen Daddy Lebedev lately?

The Country that introduces itself with Great is offloading it’s responsibility as a rich healthy developed economy to a recovering civil war zone, desperate for Foreign Investment.
They have put a cost, value or price on human beings, per head; and put them up as a job lot, for tender, from overseas bidders

          That is people trafficking Charage.

          Nothing less.

          1. Dinkum

V if you think the house of Windsor is bad in the atrocity league just examine the history of colonial Europe
Germany for example were the first to establish extermination camps in Niger complete with medical experiments
Only recently a batch of heads were returned that were languishing in universities for teaching about white superiority in the good old days
It reminds me of the scene when Leo dicaprio at the dinner took out a scull of a ingrown measuring the cavity to show how black slaves were subhuman
The fact is from Belgium to france to Portugal to Germany all empires were scum
What set Britain apart was they were more ruthless as their empire was larger

            A little fact
When Britain banned slavery and they were the first the crown paid restitution to the slave owning families
I found that out only because a few years ago they finally paid the last instalment on the loan to fund it

          2. V aka Frilly Keane

            Fair to say
Society is more evolved, and humanity more sympathetic to equality and human rights now
Than the days of white colonialism, religious proselytizing, and realm growing.

            Except for the Brits.

Brexit means a lot more than just Brexiting from the European Union. It’s going back 200 years to a bitter depraved class system where wealth and title + the entitled type rule and dominate.

NHS will be gone within the next ten years
            Workers rights long before then
The Tories will return Britain back to the era of Empire and pink mapping and flag planting. The Britain of pre Industrial Revolution

      2. Mad

While it’s sad to see some of our British friends de-evolve in this way before our eyes, I yet live in hope that common sense will prevail and this lot will be handed their p45/S in good time V, just like our own blue rinse crowd.

      3. Dinkum

Much the same as Australia did
        And it did work
Problem is that france encourages and turns a blind eye to refugees getting on trucks to get to the UK
As for the frogs their refugee camps around Calais and Paris are worse than a slum in Bangladesh
And I live in france for a year I’m the south and my god the racism shown against migrants is beyond nasty

        1. Mad

What’s the difference between lignite and turf ? None
What’s the difference in the harvesting of it?
    Ireland digs it out
Germany uses the most toxic manner to get it out
And who is stepping up producing while the other bans it?
    Germany
    WHO exports lignite?
    Germany
And will lignite be banned in Ireland ?
    No
    Will turf be banned?
    Yes

    1. V aka Frilly Keane

      Let’s start with this

      Turf is mined
      Not harvested

      Turf is mined.
And the sooner mining is the only extraction method identified and inserted into the narratives suffocating this legislation,
The easier it will for everyone to accept and get on with it.

Everyone really needs to stop looking at turf like it comes into the house from creels hanging off a donkey.

      1. TenPin Terry

        What a lovely word creel.
I had to look it up.
Conjures up this image of V as a little old lady in a white apron and bonnet hand-churning butter in front of a whitewashed cottage while singing a sad lament for her empty creels and no fire to bake a creamed horn.
She smiles at the camera as it captures a brief sepia-tinged moment in time revealing a black-toothed visage like an uneven row of wooden pegs left out on the line before cackling to herself and taking another swig from the naggin secreted in her apron.
        Never change V.

        1. GiggidyGoo

There you are Charger. A new word to describe your parts of your nether region. And ‘donkey’ to describe the rest of you.

So I’ll never change my colours

      2. Dinkum

Actually the method of mining is different in Ireland and it’s a different process
In Germany brown coal is mined like coal
It’s open cast mining not digging it out as in harvesting
        Actually read up about it
And the turf cutters dig it out allow it to dry then transport it
Many of the starter logs you buy from your supermarket involve drenching in gasoline so when you light it it burns pretty quickly
Fact is if we want to ban turf then ban all the imported stuff but eamon Ryan will permit the sale of this I’m our country
Germany has expanded brown coal mining as Ireland is banning it especially as the mining process is totally toxic
We have also reduced our gas production including capping gas fields as we import it all which also is far more environmentally damaging as it’s transported here and of course I presumes because it’s not from here the carbon footprint is omitted so it looks good on paper
I laugh every time I hear Ryan air claiming it’s carbon neutral
Now we see easy jet claiming the same
They are as climate neutral as a Chinese coal mine and buy carbon credits to off set their carbon emissions

        1. V aka Frilly Keane

          It is still mining

Whether it’s lads with buckets and spades
Or heavy agri industrial mechanical monster tractors

The resource doesn’t grow back for a second cut in a year, or in a lifetime
          Or a thousand lifetimes

          That’s mining

  5. TenPin Terry

So why was the Army Ranger Wing which had planned to provide security for Coveney’s heroic visit to Ukraine stood down at the last minute in favour of the Garda Emergency Doughnut Unit ?
Legal concerns apparently according to the Irish Times although precisely in what form no-one is sure.
So now Ireland can’t deploy its crack Boy Scout unit for fear of a legal challenge ?

” They do not like litigation up ’em Captain O’Mainwaring “.

The SAS protected Boris on his visit, Ireland sent traffic wardens.
    Morto.

    1. SOQ

Because Ireland is a neutral county which does not have the protection afforded by NATO.

Besides, it’s no secret that the SAS were already in Ukraine training the Nazis.

      1. TenPin Terry

A neutral country that has to ponce off the RAF for protection of its airspace.
And relies on Cork fishermen for naval duties.
        Sounds about right.

          1. GiggidyGoo

The RAF were allowed ‘police’ Irish airspace as it was in englands interest to do so. It takes 15 minutes or less from exiting Irish airspace to reach blighty. Be thankful that Ireland allows england the facility.

        1. Dinkum

          Yes tin man
Our west cork fishermen negotiated with the Russians to move their fleet out of our waters and they did and they kept to the deal
Maybe the lads from the west cork fishing fleet need to sit on the UN Security Council instead of that gob shite Simon coveney

          1. anti bot

You’re kidding right? A bunch of west Cork fishermen got the Russian navy to back off? On the scale of 1 to 10, how deluded are you? Jaysus, get those fearsome men over to Ukraine and stop the invasion and killing of innocent people.

Nobody really knows at the moment- well the Russians and NATO do- but nobody else.

          5. Nigel

‘Why would civilians be in the azovstal steel factory Nigel?’

Sheltering from the Russians who like to murder civilians? Even if there aren’t they murdered thousands to get there, didn;t they, you think they’ll find something there that’ll make that okay?

          6. Nigel

‘If there is a bio lab there then yes- plenty of civilians.’

If what the Russians are claiming is true- that they were experimenting on people from Mariupol- IMO anybody scuttling around down there like a sewer rat, deserves to be treated as such- civilian or not.

Strange how 26 000 civilians being butchered by Azov Nazis never bothered you eh?

          9. Nigel

‘If what the Russians are claiming is true’

I’m sure if it doesn’t turn out to be true they’ll issue a sincere apology across a few mass graves.

‘Strange how 26 000 civilians being butchered by Azov Nazis never bothered you eh?’

Strange how that entire death toll is suddenly being laid at the feet of the Azovs, strange how Putin sending in literal Nazi merceneries to start that conflict never bothers you.

That Belfast Telegraph story is tragic, though also quite odd. 9 hours waiting for an ambulance? Did nobody think of sticking him in a car, or calling a taxi after the first couple of hours? Seems so odd.

  7. GiggidyGoo

Speed limiters to be fitted to new EU and UK vehicles.
Note – there’s an on/off switch so it’s up to you if you want your vehicle controlled by it.

    1. SOQ

Except the insurance companies will insist on it being on all the time- which means there is no off. It is already common place as a box in company vehicles- the company can see exactly when and where a driver exceeded the limits.

      1. TenPin Terry

Apparently Ireland’s car dealers have requested that any new car shipped to Ireland should also have a Sure It’ll Be Grand switch.

        1. GiggidyGoo

Likewise, any car shipped or assembled in the UK for blighters is fitted with an auto-whine facility – and it can’t be switched off.

    2. Micko

      Jesus that’s a bad idea.

Every single driver has misjudged an overtaking or similar at some point, say where an oncoming car has been closer than you thought. We’ve all made that mistake and have had to speed up to get out if a bad situation.

Having access to “putting your foot down” and nipping out of that dodgy situation is something you need in a car and having a speed limiter mess with that, is a terrible idea.

      1. GiggidyGoo

There is a ‘put your foot to the floor override’ built in. Once used, it turns off the limiter until the next time you start the car.

        1. Micko

So you can just floor it from the start of your drive and then the whole thing is moot yeah?

What a mad idea… seems pointless.

Just one more piece of pointless tech and one more thing thing to break in your car.

Marine Le Pen vows to undo the wrongdoing of Macron towards the unvaxxed!

‘I will reinstate the 15 000 healthcare providers identified as unclean and pay them the salaries they have been wrongly denied.’

    https://twitter.com/SaiKate108/status/1514985271162707970

Marcon accusing Le Pen of being authoritarian rings more than a little hollow after his behaviour- the mandatory vaccinations/ passports were deeply unpopular. While unknown how many would vote on that single issue, it did bring thousands onto the streets, and may swing a certain amount of the undecided.

      1. SOQ

Because what happens in France shapes what happens in the rest of Europe- they have the largest military for a start.

        1. Tom J

So if Marine Le Pen wins, the rest of Europe will elect a right wing person in their elections.

          1. Nigel

The right wingers are the ones who think that public responses to a global health emergency is authoritarianism, while forcing people to go to non-essential work during a pandemic is freedom.

      2. paul

Marine Le Pen has fairly strong links to Russia and Putin, hates the gays and is an all round toxic individual, of course SOQ is delighted she’s in the news. Le Pen also a fan of the human trafficking that’s being touted in the UK so maybe SOQ is happy there too, who knows.

        1. TenPin Terry

For admirers of MILFs and more mature women in general Marine Le Pen is a fine half.
Quite the minxy little smile on her lately.
She’s too young for Macron, of course, otherwise he’d be all over her like a cheap suit looking to drop his hand.
Besides I doubt his granny beard lets him out of her sight much these days.

I’d say Marine is well-versed in the discreet arts of the boudoir. She seems a game old broad to me.I’d certainly take one for the team.
Mrs Macron on the other hand …
She’s had so many facelifts she picks her nose through her navel.

          3. TenPin Terry

The really funny thing is SOQ demanding to know why Nigel is evading telling him his nationality.
But refuses to answer the repeated question of why is it that important that he knows.
The internet meltdown is coming along nicely.

            You’re a fupping hamster Terry

          1. SOQ

No, paul is right- we gays should not have an opinion on anything other than being gay, and we should accept without question whom our superiors decide is or is not homophobic- because they always know best.

Did you know that Trump had five out gay men as direct reports? Bit of a bitch apparently. But no, he is obviously a homophobe too- because CNN said so.

          2. Nigel

Do you think he oposses those ‘don’t say gay’ bills? Or if you, a gay man, are okay with it, then straight people have to be okay with it too?

          3. paul

I was more thinking that if you cheerlead one authoritarian homophobe then why not two.

If I was supporting someone who was vehemently against the rights of white, Irish people with glasses and two Easter eggs in the cupboard* and wanted to wipe us from the earth, I’d imagine people would look at me funny too. A quisling even.

*this is me by the way. Munch.

          4. Micko

I just looked up that so called “don’t say gay bill” there. It’s only applies to kids up to the 3rd grade. (8-9 year olds).

I think that it’s fair enough that some parents wouldn’t want kids that age to be discussing sexuality.

To each their own and sure parents are free to teach whatever they want in the home.

          5. Nigel

Passing specific laws that equate acknowledging the existence of gay people as ‘teaching sexuality’ is not reasonable, the existence of gay people ony ‘teaches sexuality’ to the same degrees the existence of straight people does and they’re not passing ‘don’t say straight’ bills, and that’s before you acknowledge the surrounding rhetoric of these laws as ‘anti-grooming.’

          6. Micko

“ Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3”

Just mentions “sexual orientation and gender identity” not gay people specifically.

            https://www.npr.org/2022/03/28/1089221657/dont-say-gay-florida-desantis

I wouldn’t teach my 7 year old about that stuff and I wouldn’t be happy if her school did either.

To each their own and as I’ve said, parents are free to teach whatever they want at home.

            Just wouldn’t be for me.

          7. Nigel

Now, see if you can find something about which specific things that are actually being taught in those schools which this bill is supposed to address.

You wouldn’t be happy to teach that grown-ups get married? Weird hang-up.

          8. SOQ

I am sick to the back teeth of bigots bringing up my sexuality as though it should be the be all and end all- you what that is called? HOMOPHOBIA- so fcukin own it paul.

I am calling this for once and for all.

          9. paul

Russia certainly owns it, by locking it in jail.

What someone does on their own time without hurting anyone else, is their own business and fair game. Carry on.

I still think Putin is a bigoted piece of rubbish and anyone who cheers him on is an awful excuse for a human. If that’s you, then that’s your business, but you will be judged on the things you do (rather than who you are) and must accept that.

          10. Micko

“ which specific things that are actually being taught in those schools ”

Pretty much “Sexual identity or gender identity”.

That’s pretty much it, that’s what the bill lists. I don’t think children of that age need to know about those subjects.

IMO they have plenty of time to learn about those things later. It’s not a “hang up”. It’s a choice.

          11. SOQ

So now NIgel- the individual who refuses to say what his nationality is- now not only knows better than blacks, Jews and trans now also knows better than gays?

On your bike you fake shill.

          12. Nigel

            ‘That’s pretty much it’

Yeah, they mean gay stuff. Anything gay. It’s reactionary homophobia because sometimes schoolbooks feature two daddies or two mommies instead of a daddy and a mommy. They don’t even hide it. They call it grooming.

            ‘also knows better than gays?’

Are you claiming to speak for all gays now?

          13. TenPin Terry

Queenie – why does it matter so much to you what Nigel’s nationality is ?
It’s a bit creepy if you don’t mind me saying so.
I hope he’s not English because I garner great amusement from the torrent of racist abuse I get and I’d hate to have to share it…

          14. SOQ

@ Nigel- I speak for nobody but myself- that is the point. You on other hand have appointed yourself spokesman for at least 4 different groups- none of which you are a member.

@ TenPin- you are goading sectarian anti Irish caricature- enough said.

@ Micko- it is no surprise he is parroting that ‘Don’t Say Gay Bill’ BS- the usual nonsense.

          15. Nigel

Micko – that’s the kind of faux naivety they need. Keep it up.

The European right wing gave up on sexual/morality politics a long time ago.
They did their sums and found that homosexuality, divorce and abortion were accepted across the board by voters below 50, and quietly changed their policies in order to have a chance with this enormous part of the electorate.

          18. SOQ

Depends on what you define as right wing.

            Is nationalism right wing? Yes
            Is globalism right wing? Yes
