    https://twitter.com/Denys_Shmyhal

And on and on it goes. That is all this guy does- meet foreign politicians while sporting butch uniforms – ah sure that’s grand- nothing much else going on to be bothered with eh?

    .

      1. paul

this is SOQ’s side-hustle, taking something ordinary and making it sinister. Sure only the other day he was having a go at Zelenskyy for having access to a PR dept. The President of a country, having someone manage their public appearance, the height of decadence.

        1. SOQ

Zelenskyy is a clown puppet with a serious drug habit- that much is a given at this stage. Most of his government are people from the bloody entrainment industry.

          1. Nilbert

“Most of his government are people from the bloody entrainment industry.”

Agreed, why can’t he just have good old fashioned mafia henchmen like Putin.

          2. SOQ

Do you think that doing a world tour in the middle of an invasion is appropriate Nilbert? A war he is losing badly I might add.

          3. andrew

Why do you lie so brazenly? And do you think that might be a factor in many other commenters’ low opinion of you?

            1. “Zelenskyy is a clown puppet with a serious drug habit- that much is a given at this stage” No, it isn’t, actually. That drug claim was one of several claims made to discredit Zelensky by the pro-Russia Ukrainian MP Ilya Kyva at the outset of the invasion. Another was that Zelensky had already fled Ukraine. These claims have all been exposed as lies.

            2. “Most of his government are people from the bloody entrainment industry.” Like WTAF? Back that up, please. And if you don’t, I truly hope the 1-2% of people on this site who don’t already see you for what you are will realise it.

          4. SOQ

I will back up my claim when you explain why someone sitting in London has such a keen interest in an Irish website?

          5. andrew

Because, as I have already explained in detail, I have a professional interest in vaccines and during the Covid debate was told by a colleague that Broadsheet.ie had some interesting coverage on the issue etc. Since then, I pop in now and again.

Now, kindly either back up the claim that “Most of his government are people from the bloody entrainment industry” or explain why you’re such a despicable liar ,.

            Over to you,

          6. TenPin Terry

            SOQ, seriously.
There’s a real bang of Looney Tunes coming off you now.
It looks like you’re just being a knob for the sake of it.

          7. SOQ

An individual who spends his time pretending to be a goading sectarian anti Irish caricature accuses me of looney tunes- really?

            Right-

Deputy president head Serhiy Trofimov, was a producer in Mr Zelensky’s Kvartal 95 studio.

A scriptwriter, studio co-founder, and producer were also awarded roles in the administration or as aides.

SBU security service to Ivan Bakanov, who ran the TV studio.

So that is a total of five and that is just the sanitised version from your own BBC- of course you could have found that with a quick search yourself? There is a more detailed account I’ll throw up when I get the time.

As for his dodgy dealings- well let’s start with the Guardian BEFORE he was elected. Not a lot since of course because that would be inconvenient although, there are some journalists sniffing around his property portfolio in the US. Big house in Florida if memory serves me.

re Ukraine “losing the war badly” – this must then be a new definition of the word winning I was previously unaware of…..see this rather interesting snippet from one who actually should know something about the actualite on the ground as opposed to some peoples trade mark fact free dancing in the dark ideologically motivated assertions.

          9. Me So Harney

PS stephen, its not a war, not even Ukraine are calling it a war.

Now tell us why you think Muslims are ragheads?

          10. E'Matty

@Stephen Moran. The war is going so well for Ukraine the Zelenskiy government spends it’s time begging for a No Fly Zone, weapons, tanks, planes, missile systems etc. It’s going so well, the Azov Nazis in Mariupol are facing absolute annihilation within days. It’s going so very well for Ukraine that Russia now has a landbridge linking Crimea and the Eastern Donbass regions, which Russia is currently expanding and will soon have total control over a sizeable portion of the East of Ukraine, from which there is zero chance of them being removed. Can you perhaps tell us what Ukraine losing a war might look like Stephen?

          11. andrew

What are you even talking about?

“Deputy president head Serhiy Trofimov”… who the hell is that? There’s no such position in the Government of Ukraine. Adding lies to your lies.

And as for some unnamed “A scriptwriter, studio co-founder, and producer were also awarded roles in the administration or as aides”… we’re not talking about “aides” or “roles in the administration”, you said “Most of his government”. An aide is not part of the government – and, anyway, guess what: every PM in the world employs scriptwriters.

I’ll help you out here, spoofer – there are 20 governmental positions in the Government in Ukraine. I’ll even list them. Never mind “Most”- just tell me ONE who comes from “the entertainment industry”…

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Dmytro Kuleba
Minister of Internal Affairs: Denys Monastyrsky
Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers: Oleh Nemchinov
Minister of Culture and Information Policy: Oleksandr Tkachenko
Minister of Communities and Territories Development: Mykola Solsky
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food: Roman Leshchenko
Minister of Economic Development and Trade: Yulia Svyrydenko
Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources: Ruslan Strelets
            Minister of Energy: Roman Abramovsky
Minister of Education and Science: Yuriy Poliukhovych
            Minister of Healthcare: Viktor Liashko
            Minister of Defence: Oleksii Reznikov
            Minister of Justice: Denys Maliuska
            Minister of Finance: Serhiy Marchenko
Minister of Youth and Sports: Vadym Hutsait
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Dmytro Kuleba
Minister of Social Policy: Maryna Lazebna
            Minister of Infrastructure: Oleksandr Kubrakov
Minister for Veterans Affairs: Yulia Laputina

So let me ask you again – why do you lie so compulsively to discredit Ukraine and its government? Are you being paid for this?

And as for the “florida mansion” or the billions of dollars in a bank account in Costa Rican bank that you “seem to remember hearing about”… lies too.

          12. jonjoker

            @stephen moran
            About the war in Ukraine.
Most of us think of Ukraine as a wide expanse of prairie – but there is a big river – the Dneiper – running across the centre of it. The river is dammed in various places, forming an almost continuous barrier of several kilometers of water to travel between west and east; possibly as a defensive measure resulting from the German invasion in WW II.

This simple map provides a good idea of the situation:
            https://www.acaps.org/sites/acaps/files/datacards/maps/ukra_0.png

Now, overlay the map of the war and you will see the difficulties facing the government of Ukraine, and more specifically the difficulties facing the Ukranian troops in the Donbass region. Geography is a huge conditioning factor here – and the initial invasions in the centre-north of the country drew troops away from the southeast in order to defend the capital.

Those troops can’t get back to the S-E now because Russia controls the skies, and the spring thaw makes cross-country travel virtually impossible.

Now before anyone jumps on my back, I don’t support the Russian invasion, but as I see it the reality on the ground does not favour Ukraine.

        2. Harry

Touring the world looking for more weapons of death
Meanwhile Mariupol apparently is full of human shields
Old and those without the funds to escape

          1. Nigel

Well, yes, to fight against the weapons of death being sent into his country by, y’know, fukkin Putin.

    1. Nigel

That just makes it sound as if he is working his backside off drumming up support for his beleagured country.

    2. jonjoker

In fairness and while not supporting Ukraine trying to attach itself to NATO, the guy is running a country that was invaded, it’s normal for him to be drumming up support abroad.

  2. Nilbert

I think when a sovereign nation on the border of Europe has been invaded by a massive and hostile enemy, with no respect for international law, then a rigorous schedule of international diplomacy would be top priority yes.

What do you think he is should do? Spend his days on Tik-Tok, and spewing attention-seeking babble on a dodgy website?

    1. anti bot

No he should be at home doing nothing whilst innocent people are being killed. Btw soq and his aliases doesn’t get irony or answer any questions. He’s just on here 24/7 to spout shxxte

        1. anti bot

Answer the questions posed above….you are incapable. All you do is spout shxxte conspiracy theories and call people names. Why do you bother? are you that lonely?

          1. Me So Harney

Tom j anti bot Vlad X, mind your own business.. Pass that to the goon in the next cubicle..

‘ It’s the young men from these low places who comprise a disproportionate percentage of the Russian invading force in Ukraine. Coupled with the simple fact that war breeds atrocity, especially a retro war like this one, is there any wonder that so many Russian soldiers, especially rank-and-file — but also some commanders from the same world — have turned to unspeakable crimes? Unspeakable to you and me, maybe; to them, it was just another Thursday — even in peacetime. ‘

A great piece on how the war is really being viewed back in Russia.

      @TPT
I did a quick google on the Moscow Times. A very interesting entity indeed.
The journey led to Derk Sauer, Stichting 2 October, Stichting De Boomgaard … and nothing. Completely opaque. In case you don’t believe me, here are the annual accounts of the last-named for 2020:
      https://www.stichtingdeboomgaard.nl/images/downloads/2020_StdeBoomgaard_jaarrekening.pdf
They run to a single page (well, 2 pages including the cover). And essentially tell you nothing.

These are obviously front organisations for “the free press” aka CIA/NATO.

      1. jonjoker

Oh, and according to another website (now unavailable, but can be seen on archive.org):
“The foundation acknowledges that the journalists working at the Moscow Times are paid by the Dutch Foreign Ministry”
        Source:
        https://web.archive.org/web/20210517010914/https://www.stichting2oktober.org/our-work/
(close to the bottom of the page).

In 2019 it appears that it was funded mainly by another non-profit org, Free Press Unlimited. This is mainly funded by “government” to the tune of 88%:
“Our incomeIncome from Government subsidies19,144,675 88.2%”
        source:
        https://www.freepressunlimited.org/sites/default/files/documents/Annual%20and%20Financial%20report%202020_0.pdf
It’s not clear whether this is the Dutch government or some other.

SOQ – wait till you find out one of the most popular US presidents of recent times was a B-movie actor.
      It’ll wreck your head.
But really enjoying your prolonged internet meltdown.
Haven’t had this much fun since Papi learned Bodger thought he was a dose.
