1:18 – “your immune system can start to say what am I needed for?”

What the F is that about?

    Jesus H Christ!

    1. Rominick

Like a muscle, that’s why we need germs and mild viruses to keep our immune systems strong.

      1. Nullzero

We don’t need immune systems we have big pharma and anyone who questions that is a wacky conspiracy theorist.

You have to hand it to them, excellent marketing led by closing down debate, “thinking is for idiots”, what a world we live in.

The rejection of modern medicine is the most surprising aspect of the current reactionary movement. I thought it would just be rejecting socilaised medicine, but I guess if you persuade enough people that modern medicine is irrelevant at best, probably evil into the bargain, they’ll tear down public health care with enthusiasm.

          1. Cui Bono?

I’m all for modern medicine but there’s nothing wrong with choosing to not take one of them if you don’t need it in the first place. It’s the rational thing to do.

Just because it’s available doesn’t mean you need to take it.

          2. Nigel

Sure. It’s the cynical spread of lies – which are part and parcel of a political movement to utterly destroy trust in public institutions, including democracy – about how the vaccine will give you AIDS and is a plot by power elites to wipe out most of humanity I object to.

Not even a straw man, more of a straw dog there or even a straw rat, Niggle.
It’s not a question of rejecting modern medicine though, is it?
It’s more a question of bodily integrity, and people being able and allowed to think for themselves.
By this stage there have been enough questions answered regarding Pfizer to justify anyone who chose to wait and see rather than rush out and get the “treatment”.
And while it is admirable that those in charge wished to find a solution to Covid, the “vaccines” were driven more by a wish to open up the economy than for a concern over our individual health; as proved by the way the old and feeble were all lumped in together where they could get sick and die.
            BTW
Note that I didn’t write “SO that they could get sick and die”.

          4. Nigel

It is an absolute rejection of modern medicine, a massive assault on the very idea of public health, or haven’t you been paying attention? The vaccines give you AIDS, and it’s all a deliberate plot by the elites. Bodily integrity is just an argument cynically hijacked from people who are most often denied access to proper medical care.

I’ll note that the same people pushing covid disinfo lamented the economic effects of the lockdowns, and that the scandal of care homes happened at the outset, before the long lockdowns and their economic consequences, so they don’t really support your argument. It’s possible the disaster of the care homes is what shocked some authorities into taking covid seriously and that lockdowns and restrictions were necessary to save lives. Others still thought letting it spread would be fine, until it wasn’t.

Mind you, the argument DURING lockdowns was that they would never end and economies were being deliberately destroyed and restrictions would never be lifted.

          5. Kali

It’s not the rejection of it though is it? It’s the absurd belief that humans are incapable of fighting off a flu and all businesses and social activities should be complete closed until the mild virus has lost steam in the media. There was nothing scientific about the media induced panic that saw bog roll fly off the shelves two years ago

          6. Micko

Bill says “we didn’t know it had a low mortality and mostly effected the elderly”

Jeasus, when I said that here in 2020 I was called a grannie killer.

            Hehehehe. Good times!

          7. Nigel

Hmm. Wonder what the full clip says?

Yes, Micko, using that as an excuse to do nothing was pretty murderous.

          8. K. Cavan

At one stage, Nigel, Thalidomide was “Modern Medicine”, would you characterise it’s rejection as “rejection of modern medicine”?
You really are an extraordinarily stupid person if you believe your argument in this post has any merit. Only a paid shill could continue authoring such insultingly puerile hyperbole.
You are an appallingly creepy man-child.

          9. Micko

“Wonder what the full clip says?”

            Hahahaha!

Well unless it’s in a different bloody language…

            “murderous”

            Hyperbole much?

      2. K. Cavan

Indeed, our Immune System, like our Musculature, our Skeletal System & our Intelligence, are Anti-Fragile systems. To make them stronger, you must stress them, without this pressure, they weaken, like astronaut’s bones & muscles in Zero G.
Just as lifting weights builds up our muscles & bones, constantly fighting off pathogens strengthens our Immune System, which incidentally, is probably the most complex & important system in our bodies.
In any normal day, the number of pathogens we ingest numbers in the billions, as soon as we reduce that number, our Immune System immediately weakens.

    1. Nigel

You were all in favour of Darwinianism at the start of the pandemic – let it run through the population and the strongest immune systems will survive!

      1. K. Cavan

That’s not Darwinism, Nigel, that’s death, the inevitable end of life. Anyone who died of Covid was carrying a risk factor that exposed them to possible death by Influenza, Coronavirus, Adenovirus, Enterovirus, Rhinovirus & close to 200 more respiratory viruses & every year, people die from these pathogens, in a combination with subsequent bacterial infection called Pneumonia.
There are, still, no effective preventive medical procedures for any of these viruses, it’s unlikely there ever will be, but there are antiviral treatments which are far more effective than the Ibruprofen offered to Sars02 victims by our GPs.
You wrote earlier about “rejecting modern medicine”, well, the disinformation campaign against anti-virals, that was real, actual rejection of modern medicine & you enthusiastically supported it, you utter hypocrite.

        1. Nigel

Another vote for letting the weak die.

Except none of those touted ‘antivirals’ were effective against covid.

          1. jonjoker

Wasn’t it a vote for letting people die when old people with multiple health issues were herded into oldfolks’ homes without wondering how that would pan out?

Wasn’t it a vote for letting people die when people with mental health issues were sent home and not allowed contact with anyone, not even their counsellors?

Wasn’t it a vote for letting people die when patients suffering from many other diseases were left without treatment for periods of up two years (on top of the time they were already on the waiting list, of course?)

Your handlers need to review the effectiveness of your contributions more frequently, Niggle.

Here’s a short extract from the Pfizer documents:
During the phase one trials, 27 volunteers were found to be, accidentally, pregnant, all women, I might add.

    23 suffered Spontaneous Abortion.
    2 suffered premature Neonatal death.
1 aborted, leading to Neonatal death.
    1 Live birth.
    Pfizer Doc 5.3.6 Pg. 12.

These injections are NOT Modern Medicine, they are the biggest disaster in medical history, by an enormous factor, utterly toxic, utterly damaging, utterly ineffective. There simply is no excuse for anyone suggesting that another Human Being should subject themselves to this maelstrom of death & injury. To do so is nothing short of evil.

    1. jonjoker

Well, KCav, I’d beg to differ: the injections are certainly Modern, and they were and are touted as Medicine.
But as was mentioned above – all this was also true of thalidomide back in the 1950s. So it is a wellknown fact that Modern Medicine doesn’t always get it right.

This is why there is NORMALLY a very long process involved in getting a new medicine approved. When this process is followed to the end there is a fairly good chance of getting a working medicine. Of course it’s a very expensive process, and any business is always happy to shorten the process to get their product out on the market, and make returns on their investment.

Vaccines and other treatments against a new disease are huge money-spinners for their producers. And they are allowed to bypass the usual process if the disease is considered serious enough – and thus we have seen swine flu and narcolepsy, Covid ‘vaccines’ with related blood clotting and heart problems, and of course every so often we hear of a product being withdrawn from the market. There isplenty of information about this on the internet, but much less about drugs that don’t make it through theapproval process.
