The 22km wide Endeavour Crater – one of three images sent back from Mars by NASA’s Opportunity Rover this week, processed by Jason Major.
The rover’s mission was originally designed to last 90 days.
13 years later, it’s still trundling around the red planet, taking snaps.

Totally agree Millie. I get quite emotional thinking about the little fella trundling his way around the Red Planet, against all the odds.It’s all a bit stoic; like Rosetta on the asteroid and Cassini on Jupiter and Voyager, who just kept on going, and is still out there somewhere.

Baseball is a game that is killing itself. The Red Sox recently had three games in a row that lasted more than four hours….unwatchable.
i concur that 4 hrs, even 3 hrs, is unwatchable. it wasn’t always that way.
