This afternoon.
Sandycove, County Dublin
Both nearby Seapoint and the Forty Foot got the all clear for swimming today, but still no joy for Sandycove where no Swimming notices remain in place.
Good times.

The pee and poo at the 40 Foot, where do you think that went? Wales? Or the sea floor? If there was e-coli in the water yesterday, because people’s poo contains nasties, where do you think that e-coli is today? Do you think the salt water killed it? Who gives the all-clear and how many samples do they take and test? Has the probability of you swallowing poo water declined from 100% to what? 25%?
Irish Water has given us the waterway safety and cleanliness you’d expect from darkest Third World.
Currents. Look it up.
What? Currents in the poo? That would be the muesli.
@eoin
With respect, get your facts right.
Irish water are engineers trying to fix Ireland’s disaster of a water network. Irish Water didn’t ‘give’ us anything. Decades of inept governments and local authorities ‘gave’ us the water system that we inherited from the Brits that IW are trying to fix.
It’s a dirty oul mess but it’s hardly Irish Waters fault. Ye may as well blame the Fire Brigade for fires.
Irish Water brand are not the same as the provision of fresh drinking water in Ireland- do you realise?
If not then go for an interview with the IW HR mafia which doesn’t even begin to describe pesticide.
Empty vessels make the most noise
How can the Forty Foot be clear is Sandycove isn’t? You can literally stand on one and spit onto the other if you’re a vulgar uncouth who spits
+1
:) caught rapid
has nobody copped the forty foot & Sandycove are the same place?
what an utter bs story this is & getting worse by the day, I can’t wait to see what the next version is
Currents?
I’d guess a mix of currents and sand.
Currents in 40foot washing the poo away. Sand in the sandycone keeping the poo/bacteria in the cove.
@Cian
ah now…I think you’ve been in for a bit of a sneaky dip yourself..injested some of that sweet sweet fck knows what water & it’s interfering with your cogs a bit today, wha?
