Gaybo was an avid supporter of Section 31 so he was hardly an advocate of free speech or of not censoring or banning people. Plus, the Irish Times is near bankrupt, they’d take an ad from anyone. It’s unlikely the Irish Times will be around for much longer, it’s finances are a mess.
