    notice how much better quality the clothes were. i couldnt afford those suits or coats or shoes.nowaadays we wear the penneys rags.

      yes, we wear and throw now, your good coat was meant to last years, small holes or bust seams were mended, most of my clothes were made by Aunties in Scotland and been threw all the cousins first, Mum knitted all our jumpers
      padded tarten trousers anyone, actually I was slagged relentlessly, thank the Lord for school uniforms

    The Heiton van may be a Morris J2 commercial.

      was thinking o’connells. belvedere is the nearest to there but i think that’s a blue uniform.

    That’s a coincidence – an Aer Lingus van in both this photo and in the one posted the other day. The one in this photo has “Freight Services” written on the back but the other has “Air Cargo”. What’s the difference I wonder? I just won’t sleep tonight unless I get to the bottom of this intriguing mystery
