What an absolutely fantastic way to end the weekend. Forza Italia! The English fans are a disgrace.

Did we smirk when chiellini dragged saka back by the scruff of his neck?
        I know I did.
Congratulations Italy, a beautifully managed game of football.

I love chiellini, the ultimate sporting leader. So charismatic.

It was nail biting stuff but deserved winners overall. Yay italia!

Over the next few hours and throughout the day we’ll begin to see images and vid following the inevitable violent carnage from England’s finest. From what I’ve seen so far it ain’t pretty.

Some of us would choose to not search for content like that.

        It only encourages them.
        You ought to stop.

It’s not that hard to find given it’s on the front page of the internet. As in most half decent media outlets and so on. Further, the racist abuse Saka etc are getting has dialed past 11.

Stop rejoicing like an RTÉ Presenter about England losing.
The only thing that matters is that they didn’t win.
    Think about it…

It could be like 1966, again and, again and, again and, again and, again and, again and, again and….

    GOD SAVE DENIS.

    -old NY piece,

“It is not only a story of what Digicel and Mr. O’Brien have done for Haiti, but also what Haiti has done for Digicel and Mr. O’Brien.”

sweet FA except take their money.

“If you make money in a poor country, you can’t just take it and disappear,” he said. “It would be bad business.”

no statement yet from Dennis or Digicel on the murder in his bed of the president of Digicel’s most important cash cow.
there are pages and pages of this drivel-he’s just gonna walk away again, isn’t he…or is he:)

“The Digicel chairman has become an ambassador for Haiti, talking up investment opportunities to businessmen. And while he is ready to admit there are problems, from a foreign investment point of view, he is more ready to point out that there are really good opportunities. From retail stores to hotels, Haiti is a prime market for corporations looking to turn a profit.”
