How can his position possibly be tenable? This whole thing stinks to high heaven, and hes been caught out repeatedly in his lies. The very least he could do is fall on his own sword and spend some time in the backbenches being penitent.
And how are FF not making more of it? They should be jumping on any chance to win back voters they’ve been hemorrhaging to FG.
My feeling is that –
Micheal Martin will run his term as the BOGOF Taoiseach. At that stage, his party will then remove him as leader, and the new leader will call a halt to this administration, thus denying Varadkar his BOGOF Taoiseach term. After all, Varadkar and Co. have made quite a laughing stock of both Micheal martin and the FF party in general.
Paschal Donohue should be brought before the committee, as should Zappone. Coveney has left a lot of questions with incomplete and unbelievable answers.
