Australia’s Northern Territory’s Howard Springs quarantine centre

This afternoon.

Further to yesterday’s announcement from Australia’s Northern Territory Chief Minister that the army will move covid positive cases and their contacts to isolation centres…

….health authorities in South Australia are organising camps for Aboriginal people ‘unable to quarantine at home’.

Via The Age:

South Australia Health opened a tender calling for expressions of interest from organisations that can provide “services for the effective quarantine of vulnerable persons who have been identified as close contacts” and “culturally appropriate and safe quarantine conditions”.

“It has been identified that facilities would be required for the quarantining of persons who would otherwise be unable to home quarantine due to their living circumstances,” the procurement document states.

“It has been identified that various sites will be required for use as facilities, due to the vulnerability of persons in multiple communities, including Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Renmark and Mount Gambier.”

The tender makes specific reference to 14-day quarantine periods – mandatory for unvaccinated close contacts – as opposed to the seven-day quarantine requirement for vaccinated contacts.

Wait, so they’re going to move people who are covid positive to isolation centres but they’re also opening centres for people who can’t isolate at home? So which is it? What am I missing?

So, So, Much… you’re missing SO, SO, MUCH… 5G has probably already fried you’re brain, or perhaps it’s cause we don’t have TB any more and if we never bothered to isolate people with infectious diseases, you’d have had TB, got natural immunity, and not be stupid anymore…

Anyway – infor_warless, Micko, SO”there won’t be a second wave”Q, Chris, et al… I hope you will all be sending your messages of disgust/doing a bit of freedom fighting towards the fake Irish nurses and doctors, doing their fake burnout thing, saving fake lives from a fake infectious disease…

You’re sounding a bit unhinged. Maybe you should take a break? Surely there’s healthier ways to engage than repeatedly trying to invent imaginary opposing sides of debate (imaginary virus, etc) and name-calling. It’s infantile.

I think there’s a fair few commenters on here such as yourself who appear to be finding it increasingly difficult to come to terms with the direction things are going in and as a result are lashing out at those who have been proven to have had the right take, by and large. It’s easier to direct your anger at those dissenters rather than confront the uncomfortable reality that our authorities have been subjecting us to propaganda and manipulating us. A symptom of cognitive dissonance.

Did ya even read that article ce?

“Head of ICU at UHL, Dr Catherine Motherway, said at national level, based on current projections, “We don’t have enough ICU nurses to staff ICU beds.”

With 130 staff currently off work in Limerick due to Covid-19″

What’s that got to do with any of us?

And yeah – ye sound a bit stressed there.

Have a Kit Kat man. everything will be ok ;)

    Australia? What about us?

    Ireland in 2021

Only vaccinated can go to bars, but they’re closing them early because Covid is spreading too much.

While telling unvaccinated to get vaccinated because it stops the spread.

While also telling the vaccinated to get a booster because the vaccines aren’t working.

    Absolute poo show.

I dont understand how anyone could think that’s normal and ok. Do close contacts have choice if they want to placed in a prison camp.

So appears to be optional…”for Aboriginal people unable to quarantine at home.”

      1. Chris

It’s forcible removal. You have no choice if you’re deemed a ‘public health risk’. They’re trying to normalise this kind of behaviour. It might be too soon to have the detainees die in ‘outbreaks’ just yet, but things are moving shockingly fast.

This was posted yesterday on the quarantine camp story, and I posted it above – but in case you didn’t catch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebWkRtVdsqo

Think harder and more critically ce.

The people who are at risk to covid are very old and sick with a small number of vulnerable younger people too. Remember average age is 83 with 2.6 comorbidities.

If they all had the vaccines and everyone else didn’t, do you think we would have the same outcome?

Also, that data is only from a 14 day window and not clear as to whether the deaths are covid deaths or all deaths. What are all deaths in vaccinated vs unvaccinated?

Look at SK vs BE too.
