Guy goes into a shop and the shop keeper asks- ‘”where is your mask?”

Guys says “oh I don’t need one, I have my lucky stone with me”

Shopkeeper says ” That won’t protect you.”

Guy replies “and neither will your bloody stupid masks.”

It’s like Calum Robinson times 911!! And if he can win the tournament, it’ll be a major propaganda coup for all right thinking people worldwide standing up against this global fascist agenda. I’m just savouring how much this is driving the Covidians nuts.

If he does manage to play in the tournament and collapses on the court, what excuses will be made then.

Will Alex Hawke (re)cancel Novax Djokovic’s visa under section 133C(3) of the Migration Act?

    Tune in tomorrow.

Novak Djokovic is a fine tennis player but may have seriously misjudged the public mood both worldwide and in Australia. I feel this ‘stand’ he is making may backfire on him commercially.

      1. Reasonable Commenter

It’s about big ego and nothing else.
Your comments here are frequently embarrassing and divisive.

    1. SOQ

What stand is that exactly? He exercised his right to bodily autonomy and most people understand why. He would not have flew to Australia if he did not think he had approval to play. It was the Australian authorities who messed up, not him. If they cancel his visa now, they will have to do the same for others too.

Second player faces deportation as Novak Djokovic saga leads to fresh medical exemption investigations

It is thought that two other unnamed players already granted entry into Australia were given visas under the same exemption awarded to the world No1.

They should cancel all the visas of people who refuse to conform to their rules.
There’s no stand here except for narcissism.

        1. SOQ

The point being that at least one other player with the exact same exemption has been there for a month? Their gaff there rules for sure as long as they are equally enforced, but they clearly are not.

Djokovic’s father claims they are picking on him and it is certainty looks that way. Why was this not sorted before he arrived? What exactly has changed since then?

Don’t these people understand the harm they are doing to Australia’s image abroad? They look like they don’t know what they are doing.

          1. Reasonable Commenter

I don’t think they are doing any harm whatsoever to Australia’s image abroad
On one hand they are standing to a big name ego-driven narcissist who thinks he can do what he wants and fupp everyone else. On the other they did screw up because he was clearly issued some kind of visa, but everyone knows a visa can be revoked.

          2. Nigel

They’ve been treating refugees apallingly for for years now without shame or conscience, I doubt they particularly give a damn about one rich athlete that has clearly got on their nerves.

          3. SOQ

            @Reasonable Commenter

The issue here is consistency. They have already let other people in under the same conditions, so why not him? He is under contract to play so he cannot just leave so they will have to revoke his visa.

And if they do that- why not the other players too?

Australia has been reliant on skilled immigrants for a very long time. Given their chopping and changing over this issue, you can be certain that some people will be thinking twice about going there now.

he won’t get to play a minute of that tournament

wait till you see, he’ll be pulled over enroute to his 1st match, the road tax will be out on the car or something something

authoritarian aus won’t be shown up by some eastern european with notions

  5. Cian

Total cases in the 99 weeks prior to Djokovic arrival in Australia: 537,308

Total cases in the week of Djokovic’s arrives in Australia:513,692

Clearly Djokovic infected half a million people.

Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not Cian. I think Daisy thinks you’re serious.

      It’s really throwing me
