Croquet may have been played by peasants in la belle France, but in Ireland it became a game for the middle classes and Big House aristocrats. Darts and snakes & ladders are for the proletariat and peasant masses. Some favour tiddly winks.

I like a game of pétanque, I brought back my balls n all.
The game improves steadily with the consumption of chilled wine or pastis. It’s like a pint for a game of darts, if it’s a game you can play with a drink you can’t really call it a sport ?

I’ve got some balls as well.
The question is not whether you should, it’s that you must.
