      1. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

        reminds me of this,
on Feb. 4, 1912, Austrian inventor Franz Reichelt plummeted to his death from the Eiffel Tower. He launched himself from the tower hoping to show off his new low-altitude parachute, which failed.

They have been researching it since the 40s; and a commercial fusion power station will happen “in 20 years”. It has been “in 20 years” as long as i can remember.

This one takes the local biscuit though. It’s announced every year (usually by Coveney), and sometimes twice depending on if there’s an election being run.

2016 – Enda Kenny turned the sod on the Cork Events centre.

2018 – Construction begins on Cork Event centre. (No it didn’t)

2021 – Still no building commenced.

The world has gone truly bonkers.
Pussy punter Kurt Zouma fined £250,000 by West Ham and faces losing his job.
West Ham ? They’re owned by pornographers who made their money selling bestiality videos and hosing down spunk in their sex shops.
The poxy French are getting in on the act – apparently he could face up to four years jail time there even though the incident happened in Essex.
The bleedin’ French ? They eat horses sauteed in a garlic and butter.
The idiot kicked a cat not let an alsation ride his missus.
The French would pay good money to watch that on a DVD sold by West Ham.
Has everyone taken leave of their senses ?

Tbh Janet I haven’t eaten processed food since I was a poor, hard-up student.
Fray Bentos steak and kidney pies were a firm favourite.
I’ve always been very careful about what I put in my body.
