I’m surprised they haven’t disbanded. They stand for the exact opposite of what they claim. Who can forget iPhone Joan and her ‘kidnapping’ by the proles

Considering it was drummed into us that covid19 was so serious
It’s not as though covid 19 was a hair loss pandemic and government effectively placed us all under house arrest and trampled on our constitution to achieve what they did

      Suddenly it’s all over
      Even closing down nephet

Good ole brownstone.org founded a year ago by anti-Covid measures, anti-masks Jeffrey Tucker? Bound to be impartial.

        1. Chris

Are you suggesting that they just made up the fact that there’s 150 comparative studies? Quite the claim, you’re going to have to back it up though – otherwise your talking nonsense.

Looking forward to surgeons not bothering to wear medical masks during future operations after reading this.

        1. Cui Bono?

Surgeons wear masks to stop blood splatter and bacterial infections with open wounds during an operation. They don’t wear them for viruses like covid or the flu.

      3. John

The small amount of studies you cite apart from many being just a pack of non-scientific lies, the others are “observational” with zero merit, worse they are from a garbage untrustworthy website.
Hint..don’t take my word for it go and have a medical professional explain to you why they are garbage

It may be hard for a non medical layperson to believe, but the mouth is the dirtiest part of the human body. It is the home of billions of bacteria that thrive in the bits of food that we chew and swallow. Also, saliva can transmit viruses like common colds, rotavirus, hepatitis, and SARS-Cov-2.
Surgeons wear surgical masks to shield the patients from droplet transmissions, infections, and contamination. These also protect the sterile environment of the operating room including all of the professionals who work there routinely.

You are utterly lost, Chris. Hope you can get your head straight, genuinely. I know you’re not a bad guy.

    1. Cui Bono?

and the science is still the same 2 years later regarding masks. In fact we now have even more evidence that they don’t work for viruses. They might be good for surgeries but not viruses.

As if I’d listen to the govt propaganda machine aka the HSE with their fake news…oh no, wait! they’ve said something I like so now I’m going to listen…

(except that tweet is from Feb 24th, 2020)

      1. Broadbag

Depends on your agenda. I would suggest the science evolved as more evidence was collected.

Although passing a 2 year old tweet off as new is pretty shoddy no matter what.

        1. SOQ

In relation to the wearing of masks, the only thing that has changed over the past two years is that the evidence that they don’t work, has grown.

Snark is all you ever have done.
I think it’s all you’re able to do.
      You are the anti-Karen.

No matter what side of these many debates you are on- the difference between what the UK and Ireland are doing, and what the likes of Canada and Australia are doing, could not be more stark.

Surely they can see what is happening elsewhere? Assuming CoVid-19 is the reason of course- which appears to be increasingly unlikely.

    1. Doxxy Chainsaw

What is the likely reason Ireland is relaxing it’s health mandates? G’wan, I need the laugh!!

      1. Zaccone

They were impossible to justify keeping in place when our nearest neighbour England relaxed their restrictions in July, never locked down again, and society functioned perfectly fine for 6+ months.

If England hadn’t stayed open over Christmas, when the rest of Europe (including Ireland) was unjustifiably panicking and going back into lockdowns, we would have been much, much slower to relax our restrictions.

We can thank Boris and his brave decision not to lockdown in December for our quick reopening in January.

        1. paddy apathy

Or maybe it’s because the worst of the pandemic is over and restrictions have been lifted accordingly. Johnson went a little earlier than most because it was politically motivated distraction to do so.

          1. Zaccone

Plenty of Europe which has far less exposure to the English press (and so far less pressure to follow their reopening example) is still very much in pandemic mode with heavy society wide restrictions.

The claims that Johnson only reopened as a politically motivated distraction don’t hold up for a second when you note England opened up in mid-July. It was open long before he was in hot water this winter.

We have passed through 2 years of instilled irrational fear, followed by short periods of hope, followed by more fearmongering and terrorising of the public. Stage 1, Covid pandemic is almost completed. Just in time, we get a possible outbreak of war in Europe. Potentially coming soon, fuel price rises, possible shortages and power grid outages, cyber pandemic (and if that happens, all bets are off, potential total collapse as our entire society relies on the digital sphere).

Enjoy the brief respite. The decade of transformation has plenty left to come.

    2. Aunt Feb

So stark, I am finding the whole thing very suspicious here since they dropped the restrictions out of the blue in Jan. I have my ideas but I cant see how it helps the world order at the moment with everyone in oz and canada saying ‘why the hell cant we be like the Paddies and the Brits?’. Never thought I would be seeing that but like everything, the real motives will be revealed soon…

    1. Kdoc

Yep. We’re stuffed with Gates’ chips. Why did they bother with them when we are all to drop dead soon as per the great replacement

    2. Walter Ego

Yeah, they realise by their bravery in taking the vaccine, they staved off a dangerous virus that had the potential to kill off millions of people and causing complete breakdowns of health services worldwide. Whilst looking at anti-mask/vaccine loons like yourself as selfish gullible conspiracy nuts.

      1. E'Matty

Hilarious. Omicron, the natural immunity provider, is why the pandemic has been halted, not your useless vaccines. Please tell us where in the world Omicron is killing loads of people? You’ve been duped and now you’ll have to face the consequences. Good luck.

      2. SOQ

Staved off a dangerous virus with a vaccine that doesn’t work? A vaccine which most people were coerced into taking and now by the looks of it, is leaving people more infectious, not less.

  3. Horsethieving Dopesniffer

“What is the real reason behind the ungodly amount of sweets being pushed by the shops all the time since the pandemic started?
What if those chemical nanobots in vaccines were designed so that they interact with glucose?
Because after all, people behind eugenics movement always wanted to cull those that they refer to as “oxygen wasters” – the poor and the working class.
And poor people do ingest a lot of fatty and sugary foods.
    Wake up, sheeple!”

Naaah, I’m tired of trolling the nutjobs. But feel free to take this one and improve it.
