Truckers and ‘smokey bears’!

Meanwhile….

A poll says that, should a meaningful number of truckers show up near Washington, D.C. in the coming days to protest two years of COVID restrictions, they will have the support of the majority of Republicans and independents in the country.

The poll, conducted by Trafalgar Group, indicates that 50.3 percent of adult Americans are “very likely” or “somewhat likely” to support the U.S. demonstration of truckers, a few of whom departed last week from various parts of the country for an expected 11-day trek to the nation’s capital.

This is the sequel – Truckkker KKKonvoy II: Electric Boogaloo!

      Less Poutine, more Putin love.

The Canada one is far from over- what with the fitrac legislation which was not repealed and the vaccine mandates / passports still in place, a march in Ottawa on Saturday is planned. An estimated one million has been suggested- time will tell.

While Trudeau lectures Russia on err… the same things he is implementing at home, interesting dirt digging on his side kick Chrystia Freeland. She speaks Ukrainian and studied there in the late eighties and early nineties.

Her mother founded The Ukrainian Legal Foundation which was funded by Mr George Soros. But even more eye raising is that her grandfather was a Nazi collaborator. He fled for refuge to an Alberta farm in Canada.

        …only the best and brightest.

“One of six Massachusetts residents charged with crimes connected to the Jan. 6 insurrection in Washington, D.C., says she is now helping to organize Massachusetts participants in a planned nationwide truck convoy to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates.”

        https://www.wgbh.org/news/local-news/2022/02/08/jan-6-rioter-moves-on-to-organizing-mass-anti-vaccine-mandate-trucking-convoy

(WTF is Fit Trac-your old and badly aged Soros trope, makes no sense))

        1. SOQ

You really know nothing about Soros’s history now do you? He was both.

Either way- the account is how Chrystia Freeland’a mother, funded by Soros, set up the Ukrainian legal system and, that her father was a Nazi calibrator- all of which appears to be items of record.

The reason for bringing this up is that some seem to think the two topics of Ukraine and Canada are separate- they are not.

          1. Daisy Chainsaw

            “He was both”
Both a nazi and a jew
            And Schwab is both too.
            And Hillary
            And Tom Hanks
            And Oprah
            And Ronald McDonald
And all the Kennedys except Robert.

          2. Chris

He collaborated with the Nazis and was responsible for many Jewish deaths – but Daisy’s as thick as a plank and wades into things she shouldn’t.

          3. K.Cavan

Oh SOQ, Dolly is trying to use humour, specifically sarcasm, to disguise the fact that she knows nothing about anything much she comments about.
The results so far, when intelligible at all, are hilariously funny but not quite in the way intended.

          4. Nigel

‘The reason for bringing this up is that some seem to think the two topics of Ukraine and Canada are separate- they are not.’

Congratulations. You connected one Canadian to Ukraine. See if you can find a few more.

          5. Nigel

            ‘He collaborated with the Nazis’

He was 14 when the war ended. He was sent to live with a man who catalogued the abandoned property of Jews who fled the occupaition, accompanying him once, without having any choice and without participating, because he was a child.

So: not a Nazi, not responsible for any Jewish deaths.

        1. K.Cavan

Nigel, are you OK? You might be suffering some side effects of all those boosters you’ve volunteered for as you seem to be unable to read, now.
Here, I’ll try to simplify it for you…
          Trudeau Home =Canada
Ukraine = Not Trudeau Home (Canada)
          Got it?
Probably not but I hate to see you making such an eejit of yourself over & over & over & over & over & over again. Then doing it all again & again & you get the picture.

          1. GiggidyGoo

Some very silly comments coming out of you Nigel. Do yourself a favour – have another break.

      2. Tom J

You seem to like convoys. If it’s not the terrorists in Canada it’s the terrorists invading Ukraine.

  1. Nigel

Hope this lot are canny enough to hide the swastikas. That was a bit of a PR blunder, eh?

      1. Nigel

There were swastikas. And Confederate flags. At the Canadian convoy. Because this is an extremelty well-funded far-right anti-democratic ethnonationalist movement hiding, badly, behind anti-health populism.

          1. Chris

“extremelty well-funded far-right anti-democratic ethnonationalist movement” I asked for evidence not propaganda & smearing. Perhaps you don’t know the difference?

          2. Chris

The US is roughly split 50/50 along party lines. If you think 50% of Americans are “far-right anti-democratic ethno-nationalists” you have more than a few screws missing – you are certifiable. A casualty of propaganda – in short, a colossal clown.

          3. Nigel

You can narrow it down to everyone who voted for Trump in 2020 if you like, or you could refine it further to the ones who think he won.

    1. K.Cavan

Wasn’t really a PR blunder, Nigel, since the swastika that Trudeau constantly referred to, as he dismantled democracy & installed a Neo-Fascist government in Canada, was on a poster, indicating that it was the flag that Trudeau should be operating under, according to the guy who scrawled it with a red marker.
Your attempt to smear a bunch of working-class people as Nazis due to that placard is utterly pathetic, revealing the paucity of rational explanations you can muster to excuse Trudeau as he literally installs actual Nazism.
You’re justifying Nazism on the basis of some guy criticising Nazism on a placard?
      Are you really that thick?
Don’t bother answering, most people who witness the Far Right content of your neo-fascist posts already know the answer.
Are you trying to take the biscuit or the piss with this childish nonsense?

      1. Nigel

There were Nazi flags, and confederate flags.

There was also Nazi imagery direct at Trudeau of course, whch was ridiculous.

They weren’t working class, since in order to sit doing nothing for two weeks without union support they must have been owner-operators, which makes them business owners, or petty bourgeouis, nor were they ‘a bunch of Nazis,’ they were a bunch of white supremacist right wing ethno-nationalists with whom the Nazis felt right at home.

‘You’re justifying Nazism on the basis of some guy criticising Nazism on a placard’

Gasp! Modern fascists using fascist imagery against their opponents? Whoever heard of such a thing?

        1. E'Matty

The only nazi flags present were in the guise of stating “This is what is being rolled out now”. They were accusing Trudeau (correctly) of being a fascist puppet. The media tells you they were celebrating Nazis so obviously that’s exactly what programmable Nigel believes.

          1. The Millie Obnoxious™

That seems like a stretch, to be honest.

Like when your ma catches you with cigarettes in your schoolbag and you tell her you’re only minding them for a friend. Same energy.

Either way, seems a very silly thing to do, bringing a Nazi flag to a protest. Asking for trouble.

    1. Nigel

I don’t think Stephen King is going to take being called a feminist lesbian aunt an insult or a put-down tbh.

      1. Ian - Gone

Nigel, have you read through that guys twitter feed?

It’s essentially the ramblings of a person suffering from a severe personality disorder.

He has an entire thread about how he cries himself to sleep because he’s terrified of liberaptors.

          1. Ian - Gone

You can get help for your liberaptor night terrors and on a more practical note the keep dry bedding is designed to allow your skin breath so you are not too clammy.

            Bless your rubber lined panties.

      2. anti bot

Go on Bodger or soq, tell how this is another shot storm. Do you remember like the one in Canada and New York. Apparently both the country and city closed. now I know why you’re called BS. Can we get Goo on to talk about the attack on the Guard in Cavan?

      3. K.Cavan

King is none of those things, of course, he’s a writer of pulp horror novels who lost his mojo decades ago, can’t sell any books anymore & now entertains us with his juvenile takes on politics.

        1. Nigel

Billy Summers, his most recent novel, debuted at number on on the New York Times beestseller lists, and I thought it was pretty good.

Rise Melbourne – undated – no location -that was best you could do -an Oz feed on US truckers ?

    A poll says that…HAHA

    it’s beyond parody.

  3. johnny

…oh look now its somewhere ‘secret’ in Texas on its way to DC-why cant we track the ‘route’-absolute garbage, undated no location except TEXAS, and NO ONE else has seen it.

    …breaking news satire site.
    from LAST saturday.

“A truck convoy scheduled to roll through Kansas and Missouri on Sunday and Monday on its way to the nation’s capital to protest vaccine mandates pulled the plug early Saturday.

In a post on their Facebook page at 1:53 a.m., organizers of “Freedom Convoy USA 2022” said there weren’t enough participants to continue.”

any more breaking news outta Melbourne ?

    1. K.Cavan

You understand that we all have the internet, johnny, right? Nobody will be hitting those links, dude, your wasting everbody’s time with these brain farts.

      1. johnny

i was gutted when they took down your ‘rant’ on the telly, how do you feel about it,no really tell us WHAT DO YOU REALLY THINK
was it the carpet stains ?

    1. K.Cavan

From “Left Coast Right Watch”, I like your sourcing, Nigel. A totally unbiased “news” source of course, I bet there are Swastikas everywhere too & Putin is driving one of the trucks, with Hitler’s reanimated corpse sitting in Santa’s sleigh, up front, as they pave the road with the bodies of the few African-American babies that escaped Planned Parenthood’s abortion drive.
      Tell us another tall tale.

      1. Nigel

Well it ain’t excoriating, but it ain’t flattering, so it might tarnish your dream.

        1. GiggidyGoo

          Ha haaaaw

          ‘Support LCRW
LCRW will ALWAYS publish ALL of our content free-of-charge for the public good. Our work is supported by readers like you!!

I’m a broke journalist and run this outlet mostly out-of-pocket. I would love nothing more than to be able to dedicate 100% of my time to doing this coverage.

Support for LCRW has allowed me to travel to report, make ends meet every month, and even buy gear and software licenses for my work. I can’t thank the folks who donate enough.’

Distinct lack of images to back up the broke ‘journalist’ claims. Never mind, sure Nigel has linked to him now, and the money will come rolling in to enable this fellow buy some gear.

          1. Nigel

Oh no, Giggidy just found out that people other than right-wing trucker convoys can crowdfund, step back, they’ll be reeling dizzily around while their brain resets.

          2. GiggidyGoo

            Lame Nigel.
Go one, supply another down-and-out journalist link.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel now in an attempt to look clever. The break didn’t do you much good.

          3. TenPin Terry

What’s really hilarious is to watch how long she can hold out before introducing her Joe F character for his first appearance of the day.
It is remarkable that one so assidious in his stalking should be absent for the entire day.
            Along with this muppet.
            Such fun.
            Hehx3™

          4. Nigel

‘Go one, supply another down-and-out journalist link’

Sure will, if I find one. You can launch a weird ad hominem attack about how they’re too poor for your liking on them as well, if you like. It’s what you do.

          5. GiggidyGoo

Ah would you look at Charger. Not only has an inferiority complex, now it’s fully developed paranoia.
Any more Walter Mitty episodes you’d like to tell us about?

          6. GiggidyGoo

Well, Nigel, it looks like you’ve run out of road. You supplied a questionable link and now you’re trying to worm your way out.

If you’re going to supply a link, please try make it a plausible one.

You’re the one who introduces the ad hominem usually by the way. (Plenty of links if you’d like a few).

          7. Nigel

You haven’t actually established it as questionable, just mocked the poor guy for crowdfunding his journalism/activism like a filthy peasant.

          8. GiggidyGoo

            Getting aerated now Nigel?
Of course it’s questionable. Prove me wrong.

The mocking, by the way, was of you. Are you that stupid you didn’t realise that? (Did you like that ad hominem attack?….it’s right out of your playbook)

The person in question wrote what I have put in the inverted commas – so he’s mocking himself then you reckon?

            Have a KitKat

          9. Nigel

‘Of course it’s questionable. Prove me wrong.’

You haven’t said anything TO prove wrong, just made an ad hom attack on his crowdfunding.

‘(Did you like that ad hominem attack?….it’s right out of your playbook)’

You just need to justify your over-reliance on ad hom by accusing me of what you do yourself.

I also know you HATE distraction, you can tell by the way you’ve made mutliple comments on a link without referring once to its relevant content.
