            This is the woman in question, who has been posting about being pregnant for 2 months+ all over her social media.

            So is it more likely A) the Ukrainians planned this months in advance, getting her to pretend to be pregnant for months knowing that the Russians will definitely strike a maternity hospital and then they can use her in media – and assume nobody will recognise her (and why exactly wouldn’t they use a stooge with no public profile for this mad scheme?)

            Or B) the woman, whose from the area, and is pregnant, was attending the maternity hospital?

            Like I posted, the actual factual evidence is pretty clear – this woman has been verifiably pregnant for months. She lives in the area. Her local maternity hospital has been bombed.

            Just taking a very basic law of averages approach to things it would be entirely logical for her to be there.

            It would not be remotely logical, or likely, for the Ukrainian government to have decided to stage a fake photoshoot with a social media influencer of all people, who they’ve been paying for months in advance to fake a pregnancy just for this moment.

          You may have a clear view of the geo-political setting, Cu, unlike most if the NPCs on here but you’ve made an assumption about what’s going in in Ukraine. It’s not Iraq, the death toll will not approach that unprovoked attack, it’s likely to be far less, once Zekensky’s free guns continue to be used by criminals & citizens, against other citizens.
          The 15-year-old boy Zelensky gave an AK47 to may have the sense not to run at a Russian tank with it.

      Mariupol is where many of the Neo-Nazi brigades are stationed, it will likely be the biggest battle of the war. Most of the Ukrainian army is now surrounded & in the Cauldron, they will surrender but the Neo-Nazis may fight to the death, in which case they will be annihilated.

            Why is there just one woman photographed – Marianna Podgurskaya?? The few times I’ve been in maternity hospitals there has been more than one heavily pregnant woman. Not all by me I hasten to add!

            Occam’s Razor suggests the simplest explanation is the most likely. ‘They staged an attack on a fake maternity hospital here is a photo of a pregnant woman who happens to have an Instagram account as proof’ is not a simple explanation. Similarly, applying Occam’s Razor, Snake Island was a result of the fog of war, the Star Wars footage was a dumb mistake and the Ghost was an urban myth, because literally every story I read about the Ghost said they probably weren’t real. Occam’s Razor suggests you’re just looking for an excuse to do ‘both-sidisms.’

Azov are well known for not respected the typical rules of engagement, preferring to hide in civilians areas (and buildings), and have committed war crimes in the past. They are a paramilitary organisation, not an army, as even armies have some rules to follow.

    Makes you wonder if the dead and injured children pictured after other bombings are just a bunch of child actors, doesn’t it? *

    And if all the photographs of other corpses were just dead people who’d died of ‘flu but were thrown out on the road with a bit of ketchup smeared on. With the odd limb hacked off to make things look ‘authentic’ and a flamethrower played over some of the remains to simulate that seared, bomb or missile blast look to their scorched flesh.

    I’ll begin by saying God rest the three people who died at Mariupol Hospital and also say God rest all dead from all wars.
    I don’t use ‘social media’ apps. life’s too short, can’t comment on journal.ie as it seems you have to be with fb or twitter I think and left the awful politics.ie although it seems there may be a few common to both it and this site given the calibre of some rantings.
    I have to wonder how, given that the pics show a very large building blown to bits, the death toll is so low and NO I’m not wishing death on Ukranian mothers and babies!!! It’s the difference between heart and head – the heart – and fingers – twitch immediately but any kind of a head would have to wonder how the hospital population, with the exception of two adults and one child RIP, escaped death and serious injury.

      Like it ir not, Verbatim, there are levels of atrocity. Our allies, the USA, probably killed more civilians in the first couple of hours of bombing Iraq than will die in this entire conflict. Nobody wants to count up dead bodies but that’s the reality.

    Why did you not also publish articles and posts where Russian officials and media claim that Ukrainians are actually bombing themselves. Because that is a standard Russian operating mode.

    If you ask them, yes, all of it is staged. There is no Russian military in Ukraine. Never was.

    And yes, there was no war in Afganistan in 1980’s. But they did win that one, even though it never happened.

    In a war, all sides are pushing their propaganda.
    Ukrainians are doing it in order to keep the spirits up.

    Don’t trust everything that you see in media, trust only the results and outcomes in the field.

    All hospitals near warzones are supposed move their patients into basements.
    In those parts of Europe some of hospitals are purposely designed to survive bombings, and to be able to place as many patients underground as possible. This is why the body count is low.

    The vast majority of these stories that have come out of Ukraine are fake. The media often know they’re fake but even when they subsequently find out, they don’t even make an effort to retract them. That’s because they know everything they publish these days is just Fake GAE propaganda.
    The audience of dullards this stuff is aimed at is well-accustomed to watching the USA bomb countries back into the middle ages but has never seen a war between two armies before, that fact is enough to expose which nation is the world’s major aggressor, our close ally, the USA.
    The Russian tactics are simply never going to provide enough “Collateral Damage” (yeah, another Americanism) so our Fake News suppliers have to go out & create their own, for the goggle-box addicts to lap up, with a side order of a comedian playing the part of a brave President, on the frontline, defending his country from invasion, using pics of him from two months ago, on the frontline, actually shelling his own unarmed citizens.
    Their bovine acceptance of such patent fakery is merely an indication of the intellectually degraded state of so much of our population, nothing new there but their neurotic outbursts of petulant anger aimed at those who dare expose these fabrications indicates a much deeper problem.
    It’s one thing to be a moronic consumer of fake media but to struggle so desperately against the exposure of such fakery, to prefer the security of lies to facing & knowing the truth, to be so deep in denial of reality, this is undeniable, widespread, mental illness.

    I saw a post earlier, SOQ, of the type of coverage Zelensky was getting from the likes of the Guardian, a few months ago. Headlines berated him over the closing down of opposition newspapers, attacks on journalists, his links with ultra-right groups, his security services doing nothing about increases in “organised” attacks on LGBT people, his “increasingly authoritarian” rule, while describing Ukraine as both the poorest (according to the IMF) & most corrupt country in Europe.
    Hardly surprising, though, our ally Uncle Sam, rarely puts nice guys in charge.

        Try finding Oliver Stone’s Ukraine documentary, nobody should even open their mouth on this subject without seeing it.

I’m going to read the articles you mentioned, but they actually don’t mention Zelensky by name in the headlines so they don’t satisfy what you were talking about in your first comment. But if you’d like you can also tell me which headlines to search for, specifically for the following, and I want the headlines to address it directly with Zelensky cited, because that’s what was promised by you:

          2. attacks on journalists

      Turkey is irrelevant, Steph, the big news coming out of this is that the West is signing it’s own death warrant with these sanctions. Never once in the history of world conflicts have sanctions stopped a war & these ones are going to hurt the people of Europe hardest. Russia is the world’s largest grain supplier, Ukraine is ranked 5th. There will be no grain planted in Ukraine this year but the EU still thinks we can do without Russian grain.
      Our leaders are idiots, we are in such trouble.

        I know successful and professional people who have had to leave their home countries for reporting the truth. Sensitivity, diplomacy and nuance is the only way out at the moment – it cannot be allowed escalate because we have to consider a world war otherwise.

        I genuinely think most people have no clue about war and its victims.

    Why is nobody talking about the real reason for the lockdowns? Teams of government employees were sent out at night to wind up all the birds because their batteries had run out – and while they were doing that they painted deadly pathogens onto the birds’ feathers and pretty soon all those birds will be migrating to RUSSIA which is obviously why Putin had to act. He had to capture the American biolabs in Ukraine where all the antidotes are kept and the Freemasons and the you-know-whos and the Legion of Mary are all mixed up in it. That Ukraine ‘maternity hospital’ was where all the lizard people go to give birth via parthenogenesis and the ‘footage’ from the ‘maternity hospital’ cut out the part where all the hissing and spitting reptiles raced through the corridors like mini Godzillas.
