“The shooter had complained multiple times about pain following back surgery and sought additional treatment in the days prior to the attack, police said.”

When moaning to Liveline just isn’t enough.

    1. SOQ

broadsheet.ie papers posted at 11:17 and why definately not by coincidence- Fearganainm pumps out the predictable at 11:21 – like on a timer- only because it’s is allowed by broadsheet.ie of course.

It is a 4-5 minute time delay- even in the middle of the night.

        1. Broadbag

Excellent work Fearganainm, keep it up, I enjoy your news selects. Ignore those pathetically and embarrassingly trying to censor you.

          1. K. Cavan

How can not wanting him to wallpaper the place with MSM garbage be censoring him? He’s not expressing his opinions, he’s promoting someone else’s, the text often consists of the title of the piece, repeated. He’s just taking up space & wasting it on bad takes from employees of huge multinational corporation.
He should bugger off, he’s a dullard, a useless, talentless tool of the establishment.

          2. Mad

            100%
He’s most likely to be a useful idiot “employed” by the Shinners or some internee who is trying to get a job as a parliamentary secretary in the next administration, and this is like one extended plaintive plea. He’s even more annoying than watching a cow calving .. isn’t that right Afterbirth?

          3. Mad

            I don’t.
They are one dimensional, unfunny and rarely remotely insightful or interesting.
When they are it feels like it was an accident.

        2. Big Lad

          Broadbag is correct.
I get my News from Fearganainm and I keep abreast of ludicrous conspiracy theories through SOQ.
If I had to choose only one I wouldn’t know what to do.

          There’s room for everyone.

          1. K. Cavan

SOQ expresses his opinions, argues his points, excellently.
Ferg just wastes this valuable space, where WE get to express OURSELVES, by plastering it with bullcrap that’s available on expensively-maintained, corporate-sponsored websites.

          2. benblack

Please, SOQ, ‘definitely’ – please don’t shoot the messenger – easy pickings for your detractors.

Hope you have a good weekend.

        3. K. Cavan

Imagine if, right now, the CEO of Pfizer, the head of the CIA, tbe Director of the NSC, the VP of Facebook, the King of Holland & the Secretary-general of NATO were among 120 to 150 politicians & experts from Industry, Finance, Academia & the Media attending a meeting in Washington, DC. That might sound like a Conspiracy Theory except that it’s true.
It’s called the Bilderburg Meeting, it’s been going on since 1954, not the same meeting though, they take breaks. It’s not in the papers, however, that’s not the media’s job.

          1. Fearganainm

Bless. He’s learned about The Bilderberg Meeting and is almost on his way to spelling it correctly. He imagines that there is nothing in the media about the 68th Bilderberg Meeting taking place from 2 – 5 June 2022.

Listen up, wimp, you don’t get to dictate what anyone posts here. Here, on a thread comprising what? Oh, that’s right, mainstream media sources. Your feeble mind thinks that it should be all about you and your raving.

Don’t try to be assertive, it doesn’t suit you when you’re actually someone who used to take off most of his clothes to let other scantily clad males beat him.

      1. JB

When a website gets updated then the whole world can read it immediately and if the website has a comments section then a reader can write a comment if they feel like doing so.

That’s how the internet works. Whether it’s “in the middle of the night” or not.

      2. ANO

SOQ, would you mind coming right out and saying what you’re dancing around ? I like to think I’m maybe a little too up on how a certain mindset works but I’m stumped here!

Is it that you think Ferg is actually a bot whose nefarious masters are looking to expose BS commentators to mainstream media news stories when the blog post they’re commenting under is nothing but MSM news in the first place ?

For those worried about the growing size of Ferg’s online real estate portfolio, I wouldn’t sweat it – the internet’s bleedin massive.

        1. Duncan Wheeler

Fergie is a mere aggregator, same as BS but without the charm or humour. Tedious MSM which I come here to get away from. “Begone dull care”.

          1. ANO

I’m not trying to police your browsing habits but if MSM isn’t your bag then a blog post of newspaper front pages is unlikely to crank your shaft.

      3. Ian - oG

@SOQ, so what if he posts links and so what if he posts them not long after the pages goes live?

Why do you want to stop people posting on here? I find many of his links interesting as do others, they do not contravene site rules, are not abusive, insulting of threatening.

Get over it and enjoy the bank holiday weekend.

        1. Broadbag

+ 1 Really weird that SOQ thinks he’s the gatekeeper of the site and of who can post what.

Especially weird seeing as he spends so much time on here clogging every thread up with his guff and looking to start rows with all and sundry. If anyone should post less it’s him, but sure we can all just scroll past his nonsense same as he can scroll past Feargananaim’s posts if they offend him so much.

          1. Ian - oG

When someone gets to the point on a website where they are openly threatening other posters and suggesting doxing them it really is time to seek professional help.

Because if not, the law will get involved and the person making the threats will find themselves legally doxed.

          2. Broadbag

The usual guff from MeSOQHorney, running interference for his master, sad little lickspittle. Accusing me of bullying while defending a poster who regularly threatens to dox people and follows them around for weeks demanding to know where they’re posting from? Lololol indeed.

          3. Duncan Wheeler

Exactly Harney, BB & I-O are a right pair of saps, spouting off all important like.

      4. Kali

It’s the highlight of his day. Can you imagine what sort of life leads you to doing that

    1. Kin

I think she will not be next year
She served her country well and even if you hate the British it was not the Irish she was serving
She will be missed and I doubt any of her successors are capible of achieving her record and dignity

    2. f_lawless

The royals are but a side show circus for the plebs. The serious business is happening up in the sky with all that military merchandise on full display

      1. TenPin Terry

Don’t worry – that’s just the ceremonial stuff we put on for the tourists.
The REALLY serious business is still in the sky over you with the brave boys and girls of the RAF watching your backs.
And not forgetting GCHQ of course, providing the vital info that, ahem, ” Irish Intelligence ” can’t.
Paddy doesn’t even have a clue what’s going on in his own back yard.

No need to put each one in a seperate message, they’re not that clever.

          2. ce

Disclaimer – While BS does offer medical advice and assists users understand the true nature of reality and how THEY are manipulating you, primarily “Broadsheet is a satirical news and popculture website from Ireland”…

… However, if you just rearrange things you’ll find the truth and see how everything is really connected to everything else… nothing happens that “THEY” don’t want to happen…

… Also, “bribed gull”, the psycho gulls have some skin in this game…

Members of an Orange lodge (Dundonald Purple Vine LOL 1056), celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee by singing a song gloating about the murder of Michaela McAreavey, (née Harte), who was strangled while on her honeymoon in Mauritius in January 2011. Presumably it is her family’s G.A.A. connections which make her murder such a fun subject for the singers:

    1. Ian - oG

No surprise there. They are like the republicans in the US. Scared manchildren who revert to camp fire style group displays of bravado to hide their terror of what they know is coming, a United Ireland.

Luckily for them, for all our faults, we are not sheer scum like they are so they will get the same chances and choices as everyone else but being pathetic losers they will still whine about it.

However, from all the people I know from up north, it is clear they are a fast decreasing minority among the PUL community so by the time a UI comes around they will be a few fat old men fapping to deepfake porn of KateWindor.

  2. Mad

Any update on the situation at Stansted, Manchester or Heathrow ?

I’d love to see how they are getting on
    Anyone?

  3. Mad

It’s terribly sad to see Liz Windsor is rolled out like an old circus cat or dog to all these bread and circuses events. Can you lift your paw for me there Lizzie? If you do I’ll give you an extra drop of sherry. Are there no UK laws against elder abuse?

    1. Ian - oG

Would you prefer she was ground up and fed to the corgis?

They probably wouldn’t want her, I believe they gave up after a few chews of Philo, too rancid and sour.

Andy pandy probably give them diabetes with all those sweets he eats while hiding in bushes.

Although maybe if they waited until he actually died but I’d still give it a go – for syence.

      1. Mad

I’d prefer if she was eviscerated slowly , while alive preferably Ian, and then the remnants turned into a cricket ball

      1. Mad

Here tell me more about that chipper in Kilgore Quay should I go down there as a matter of priority or not?

  4. SailorGerry

Only link I will post today, to rather a good read, if a little verbose, over at the website linked below.

It really explains why the clowns in charge get away with what they do, and why their masters that pull the strings, have no fear of being strung up in a dead Mussolini homage, as they should be.

I think most people can see that the MSM has been disingenuous at best with their reporting on things like the Plandemic, Ukraine, or the green carbon neutral tripe getting rammed down our throat, but still regard them as a primary source of information.

At times I feel like the gardener at Jonestown, watching everybody get ready for the big party, whilst not being able to convince anybody that the Koolaid will not be as advertised.

freckle lore… it’s why they use Irish accountants to hide their money… we create our own reality… or do we???

    1. Duncan Wheeler

It’s great that all the real people abondoned the barf worthy Guardian & set up Off-Guardian., it’s one of the few decent sites of its type. Good article too, ta.

amidst the goodnewsstory PR campaign over the last couple of days on the DAA shiz and the laser focus on getting it right this weekend it seems the media aren’t really too interested in getting in behind the real issues going on out at the airport….but this ex-DAA fella Daragh Bolton explains it very well (like you didn’t already suspect but interesting to read someone in the know explaining nonetheless)

“‘Really bad planning’: Security expert says airport managers don’t grasp impact of decisions”
    https://www.thejournal.ie/dublin-airport-security-expert-5781429-Jun2022/

have also heard through a certain grapevine that on top of it all there are ongoing (cough) problems with their payroll processing…

    1. Ian - oG

I actually watched that though I was expecting a joke.

Nice to see Charles Saxe-Coburg-Gotha arriving in a German car.

A German car for a German prince.

      How nice.

Couldn’t even make their paper anniversary.

Wonderful body lingo – says it all.

Did Jemima Marcelle Goldsmith lend her the hat ? It certainly throws a lot of shade………

      1. Chris

@ Ian, now now ‘tard put down the tube, it’s not edible! Sigh, some mothers do have them.

    1. Tom J

There are two questions that should be getting asked, what is a man, and what is a woman.

        1. Tom J

You got through the airport without any problems then. Good luck with the operation.

  6. SOQ

Dublin Pride is to butcher the rainbow flag with the Ukraine colours? Please tell me this is not true?

I have seen some bad decisions taken over the years but this one takes the biscuit.

Who gave them the right to mess around with our flag? Absolutely disgusting.

    https://dublinpride.ie/pride-2022/

    1. SOQ

Just on this subject- now the precedent of shoehorning in non related politics has been set- are we to see the Union Jack or the Tricolour slid into rainbow flags in Belfast Pride 2022?

    2. Tom J

      @ SOQ,
Don’t worry about it too much, nobody will even notice it among all the other colours.

    1. f_lawless

A damning indictment of the Covid quasi-vaccines?

      Flashback to October 2021:
      https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/01/world/europe/portugal-vaccination-rate.html
“In Portugal, There Is Virtually No One Left to Vaccinate
Portugal is among the most highly vaccinated countries in the world. “

Since then the country’s seen multiple Covid waves and boosters but transmission has remained high.

With such a high uptake of the (non-sterilising shots), is the still-circulating virus being put under enormous evolutionary pressure to mutate into new resistant strains and/or have the shots potentially messed up people’s innate immune systems? That’s what some experts have predicted may happen.

      1. ce

        thanks doc….

Disclaimer – “Broadsheet is a satirical news and popculture website from Ireland”… not a place for medical research…

        1. f_lawless

I’m not a doctor. I consider myself able to consider the opinions of experts in the field when those opinions are expressed in an accessible way for laypeople. Don’t you consider yourself able to do the same?

I’ve linked to Geert Vanden Bossche before (virologist/vaccinologist, ex-GAVI, oversaw the roll out of the Ebola vaccine in Africa). Here’s a recent video of him explaining in an accessible way what he thinks is happening in the likes of Portugal.
          https://www.voiceforscienceandsolidarity.org/videos-and-interviews/predictions-on-the-evolution-of-covid-19-omicron-and-vaccines
          ______________
Note: I should correct myself in the previous comment. As Geert explains it, the mass roll out of the shots isn’t causing the virus to mutate as such. Mutations are always happening, he says. What it does, is to put enormous pressure on how the virus propagates so that ‘vax’ resistant, highly infectious strains become dominant and eventually virulent strains are likely to become more widespread too.. I hope he turns out to be wrong about the increased virulence becoming widespread but that report from Portugal is a concern in that regard.

          1. f_lawless

What’s with the petty snipes? Are you incapable of engaging in a mature manner?
As he explains in the link I posted, he began his career as a veterinary doctor but early on his career moved over to human virology and immunology, spending 10 years in academia before becoming a high-level specialist in the vaccine industry through working for companies like GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis. You’d be aware of that if you had watched past the first minute!

          2. ce

Disclaimer – “Broadsheet is a satirical news and popculture website from Ireland”…

I don’t know anybody who has had any issues with the vaccine other than a rough day or two similar to folk who have had malaria or similar vaccines… none… I know several people (pre-vaccine) who have had serious unexpected life altering issues with Covid and several who were just fine… most people I know who have gotten covid post-vaccine had two or so rough days and were then fine or were mostly asymptomatic… I know a few folk who didn’t get the vaccine, several have been fine so far and several got knocked the fupp out… Geert “why trust this expert over other experts???” Vanden Bossche is off his head or has some weird axe to grind…

“I hope he turns out to be wrong about the increased virulence becoming widespread” – no you don’t, you an apocalyptic millenarialist, enjoy that it’s a free-ish country

      2. f_lawless

What can I say, more fool me for trying to engage in a reasonable way with another internet casualty
