‘Of interest in the housing rental problem. this barge in Sallins, county Kildare was for rent for 800 euros a month when the advertisement was published yesterday.
‘Today, the same boat, same ad, and its now 1400 euros a month.’
Anyone?

seasonal hire of a boat – it is more expensive in summer. always has been, always will be. Would be a great way to spend the summer for a touch over 4k.
Yep. No regulating rents in Ireland.
It’s gas reading the byline on the Feantsa twitter
… “…working with homeless people…”
Shouldn’t it be rescuing homeless people or something? Working 《WITH》 suggests that the homeless are working? Which of course is possible, probable & even plausible though it suggests that there’s a two way cooperative non- exploitative relationship between ‘the homeless’ and the employees of Feantsa and the national orgsnisations that they represent. Which…
Yeah.
Let’s do the math before we barge our way into arguments about rents etc. How much is the mooring is what I wanna know. & is that included in the rent? I wouldn’t be surprised if it is not.
if it’s damp your after..

I heard a TD on the radio this morning, it may have been Andrias Moynihan.
He was really, really concerned about the lack of accommodation in Ireland.
To be more specific, he was worried that what with all the Ukranians (although I don’t think he specifically mentioned them) taking up hotel beds that there wouldn’t be enough accommodation for foreign tourists over the summer.
I may have missed him expressing his concern about the lack of accommodation for Irish homeless.
I read somewhere that the government was getting ‘well paid’ for taking in so many Ukrainian refugees.
It was just a personal opinion but if so, how much, by whom, and where is it going?
Well clearly all the money is going to Ukrainian gays going to Dublin Pride
So greedy greedy greedy greedy
“Minimum one week rental.”
“Can fit a third person if necessary”
I think it’s just an airbnb that lost its way
