With a pair of weekend camping tickets to Body and Soul at Ballinlough Castle, Co Westmeath on offer, we asked: why you of all people deserved a pair of weekend camping tickets.
You answered in your tens
But there could be only ONE winner.
JozzyPete: “I am familiar with many of these bands and demand the weekend tickets because..things keep happening that prevent me from going to festivals. The last festival I made it to was EP 2006 with an ex-girlfriend. I didn’t even see one band as I spent most of the time going between the jaxx, the tent, the food stalls and back to the jaxx with her. I vowed that this would be our final festival.
After the split, two years later, I went on a bender….a huge bender. Ended up living in Holland on the bender for a few years. While there I met a lovely lady who started popping out children. Great times indeed but between buying nappies, trying to convince the children to go back to sleep and the fact that I lived in Europe’s dullest country, I never made it to any festivals.
Glorious joy!! And to make a long story short. Last September we decided that we’d move to Ireland to raise our boys with lovely accents. Throughout my time in Holland I talked for a least two hours per week about how great it would be to go to a festival in Ireland. Now that I’m back I’d love to live up to my words and bring her to one. Only problem is I’m not allowed spend money on anything other than nappies. Please help. Also Super Furry Animals.”
Thanks all.

Going to The Body & Soul Festival in Ballynough Castle, Co Westmeath (June 20-22).
The outlook with DJ Ickis Mirolo.
Friday:
“Friday will be largely dry with good spells of being completely in bits. There’s a risk of just the odd light passing bad buzz during the afternoon, mainly across family campsites, but most places will see none at all. Highest intake 17 to 20 cans, in a light to moderate southwesterly fashion, with a few come ups developing near the evening.
Saturday:
“Saturday will be largely dry but a few existential crises will increase from the Atlantic, bringing a little patchy rain or bad vibes, mainly in the darker dance arenas where it will turn misty too. Lowest vibes will be at 10 to 12 degrees, with light to moderate mad buzz winds inland, fresh faces along the west for those who saved themselves for Darkside’s set who ‘expect to feel the effects of the 2cb “any minute now”.
Sunday
“A few dry jocks and a sprinkling of crusty knickers in most areas on Sunday, with warm sunshine developing, especially in the southern half of the Festival, it will be cloudy for a time whilst you realise that you’re wasting your life and that sessioning all the time isn’t sustainable. Last ditch attempts at finding bag of beak with a little patchy drizzle of change near coastal regions early in the day, but craic will improve in all areas as you drink half a bottle of cough syrup and stop overthinking everything so fucking much. Highest temperatures 18 to 23 degrees, with light to moderate southerly winds.”
Oh.
