Leading chefs from around the country – including Dylan McGrath (top left) and Derry Clarke – gathered to support the ‘Kitchen Charter’ a practical initiative by Chef Network developed to “improve the working environment in professional kitchens throughout Ireland”.

Maybe stop SHOUTING at underlings like sweary crazy people.

It’s grub, not Vietnam.

Three of Cork’s top chefs – above from left: Kevin Aherne of Sage in Midleton, Bryan McCarthy of Greenes Restaurant in Cork City, and Robbie Krawczyk, whose new restaurant in West Cork is opening soon and formerly of Tankardstown House, Slane, and Glebe Gardens, Baltimore – are collaborating on a unique local ingredient-driven dinner in Greenes Restaurant [MaCurtain Street, Cork] to showcase the different food regions in Co Cork and their unique produce.

…he three award-winning Cork-based chefs to showcase the best of Cork produce from their respective localities within the county. Robbie is using West Cork produce in a vegetable course, Kevin is cooking with East Cork produce in a seafood course and Bryan is using North Cork produce in a carnivorous course.

The cost of the #EastMeetsWest dinner at Greenes Restaurant is 69 euro per person. It is taking place on Tuesday the 6th of March with a start time of 7pm.
