“Over the past few months, some rocky starts, and heated hall meetings, a James Street & Districts Residents Association has been set up covering the area from James St Hospital Luas stop towards the city as far as the Guinness Brewery. We’re registered and all official like with Dublin City Council. We’re even registered with the new Public Participation Network . Something all residents associations should be doing, I’m told.
Our main tasks, without giving you a list as long as my arm, are anti-social behaviour in the area, change of purpose of some local buildings, and the standard clean up in the area, something we want to get the local kids involved in.We’d like to ask if any of your designer, creative types among your readers would help us out by designing a ‘James Street And Districts Residents Association’ logo…
It would go on hi-vis vests for clean up days, headed paper in our dealings with Dublin City Council and whomever else we need to correspond with. It would be a great boost to all of us in our fledgling RA. It’s a blank sheet brief, just one thing though… nothing Guinness related please :)”
Anyone?
