Gonzaga College Past Pupils’ Debate Series
Please save the date for the next round in our exciting new debate
series. This will take place at Gonzaga College on Tuesday, 27
September 2011, beginning at 6.30pm.The motion for our autumn debate
is that “fee-paying schools should receive no financial support from
the State.”
Once again an impressive panel of speakers has been chosen.
For the motion: Peter MacMenamin, Jim O’Callaghan and Niall Crowley
Against the motion: Michael McDowell, Malachy McAllister and Paul Brady
Oliver O’Brien, past pupil and Gonzaga College teacher, will Chair
the evening. An open forum will follow the debate, giving the audience
plenty of opportunity to air their views and pose questions.
