This day 74 years ago – 14 February 1946 – the world’s first general-purpose computer, the ENIAC, was unveiled at the University of Pennsylvania.
One of its six primary programmers was Kay McNulty, who was born in Co Donegal and had emigrated to the US with her family. pic.twitter.com/AXiDsld4gd
