A mural by Joe Caslin of two men on the corner of Dame Street and George Street, Dublin which appeared over the weekend
Another mural of two women will be installed at another location later this week.
The Herald reports:
It is based on the famous National Gallery painting The Meeting on the Turret Stairs about a princess and her bodyguard who fall in love but aren’t allowed to marry.
“Here we are 1,000 years later and we’re still talking about a higher power who can prevent that union taking place and that’s the core thing – it’s just about love,” Joe said.
I hope giant mural of two men will further gay marriage debate, says artist (The Herald)
