A short film by young filmmakers (above) from LIT Thurles [Co Tipperary]  about the downside of drink made in association with the Tipperary Regional Youth Service and the Mid West Regional Drugs Task Force.

Director Adam O’Dwyer writes:

“‘Silent Keys,’ is a story about a young woman who loses her way. Em, the central character, is as unique as any other person. She loves her friends and her family and she enjoys playing the piano. Factors in Em’s life lead her towards alcohol. As she struggles in certain aspects of life, she begins to see alcohol as a solace, her only comfort in her increasing distress. As Em’s dependence on alcohol grows stronger loneliness and desperation prevail. Before long a dangerous situation ensues.”
