Last night at least one parent camped outside a special primary school, hoping to access a place there for their child who has autism. The application forms for limited places are available from today. This parent is desperate for their child’s educational needs to be met as per law (EPSEN Act 2004….still not fully implemented). Shame on those accountable:
I can’t post the name of the school, but this is happening. They can’t take more than a few, but sweet Jesus, what is our society like? Parents of SEN children have enough to cope with without having to fight for constitutional rights for their children…
