I know you don’t usually do this… but I arrived in Cork today on my honeymoon and seem to have stupidly left my phone in a taxi driven by a gent named Tim/or Paul Pio Coffey.
He picked us up at the train station in the city, and dropped us to the Imperial Hotel [South Mall] If this message gets to him and he can reunite my with my (‘my job’s) phone, I’d be a happy, hairy little camper…

A lovely couple only a few doors down found him hiding under their sofa. They reckon he got in over the weekend & got spooked when he couldn’t get out. He is now at home and very happy. Although I think he may look for squatters rights…

“I know you don’t usually do this but on Tuesday evening, around 4.15pm, my bicycle was stolen from Wolf Tone Square [Dublin] outside Jervis, the bike was only two months old and was a birthday present from my boyfriend. I’d locked the bike before going into the shop for 15 minutes, it was gone when I got back. I’ve reported it but nothing back, I’d really appreciate if anyone spotted it about town to let me know. It’s the 4th bike I’ve had stolen in Dublin in the last few years, despite always using the best locks but this one really meant a lot to me and I’m devastated it’s gone.”

They said it wouldn’t be found.

This is pretty last minute but thought I’d give it a shot. I am leaving in a couple of hours to catch my plane as I am going to do the full Camino De Santiago. I also shaved a mohawk into my head asI originally had the intention of doing it for charity but I things got in the way and I had no time to organise it properly.
Anyway, as I said this is a long shot, but I’ll give it a try.It would be great if the readers of Broadsheet.ie would donate anything they can to Crumlin’s Children Hospital for my walk (as I spent some time there yeeeears ago as a kid and they were so great to me, and with all the cutbacks at the moment they really need some funding).
As for myself, I’m from Maynooth but living in Zurich – so hello to everyone back home!
