John McLean (above), the minder and guardian of the Trinity Cat, is reporting that ‘Trinny’ has been missing since around 8pm last night. Mr. McLean has spent the past three years looking after Trinny on a daily basis and is very distraught. Should you come across her on your travels through campus [or elsewhere] please notify Students Union Front Office in House 6 [or through Facebook page below].

My girlfriend was walking the dog in the park just down from Dartry Mills [off Dartry Road close to its junction with Milltown Road], Dublin when she came across this turtle sitting in the gravel beside the [River] Dodder.

It is injured, bleeding and rather motionless. If anybody somehow lost their turtle or can identify the breed, we’d love for you to get in contact.

I know you don’t normally do this but I guess there’s no harm sending this in…yesterday my house [Dublin 6] was broken into and my bedroom and my housemate’s bedroom were pretty much destroyed. They took the main things like our laptops, cameras, iPod, jewellery, etc., (and random stuff like make up and my shoes) but the worst part is they rifled through my personal stuff and threw it around and took some really personal things…Anyway the chances of getting these back are most likely zero BUT I did have a very distinctive laptop. It’s a Dell Inspiron 15R. The lid (above) got shipped from the US and is pretty hideous to most people I’m guessing, so I doubt there are many like it in the country. I’m hoping someone comes across it…

She’s not like other cats.

I know you don’t normally do this but this cat, Miss Ellie, is missing from Cabra East, Dublin, since October 9. Cats go missing every day – finding them can be difficult, because they can all look the same. But Miss Ellie is not like other cats.  she is missing an eye, and the tip of one of her ears, and she breaths like Darth Vader – you can hear her coming from a distance. Cats can travel miles when they are lost. If you have seen Miss Ellie please call Cat’s Aid on (01) 6683529

I know you ‘don’t normally do this’, but I am furious with myself and whoever stole my bike (above) an hour ago from the back of Ben Dunne’s Gym on Jervis Street, Dublin. I borrowed the bike from my partner and I’m in big trouble for not using a more secure lock (a u-lock instead of a flimsy cable and padlock). As you can understand, I’d be very grateful to anyone with news of its whereabouts.

I know “you don’t normally do this” but I’m hoping this will be one of those exceptions. Myself and my fiance were at her brother’s wedding afters in Fallon and Byrne and next door in Ukiyo on Exchequer Street, Dublin, on Saturday night and have lost her camera with all of the wedding photos…The camera is a Canon IXUS 95 IS Digital Camera in Silver. It may still be in a black Canon Ixus branded case. Reward and massive relief if we can track it down. Thanks!

I know you don’t normally do this but my bike that I love and built back into a usable bike was stolen from Capel St [Dublin] over the weekend. It was left there from sat afternoon until this morning. I shouldn’t have left it there for so long.. I know. I’ve gone to the Guards, but there isn’t much they can do about it. It’s an old red Peugeot racer, about 1980s,  as in the photo (above) but with white drop down handlebars instead of black.

Anyone?
