Due to the DART not operating between Dun Laoghaire [Co Dublin] and Bray [Co Wicklow] this morning, people were walking from Sandycove to Dun Laoghaire along the ‘metals’.
I followed suit, and by the People’s Park, we came across this lovely scene (above)…there are about 8 to 10 people shimmying along the metal fence to avoid the massive puddle in the middle of the metals! Apologies for lack of Instagrammage!

Dry toady apart from a few isolated showers. Good sunny spells in most areas. Cool though; highs 14 to 18 in mainly light N to NW breezes.

Met Éireann’s long-ish term forecast
“Possible evolution of weather pattern for next week: A cold front may begin to move down over Ireland on Monday with some rain but there is a possibility that warm Continental air may then push in over Ireland over the following days bringing some fine, summer weather with temperatures well into the twenties. Although this is still far from certain it is a distinct possibility”.
