Inner city Dublin and Stephen’s Green: examples of the spine-tingling photography of Evelyn Hofer (1922–2009) on show (until August 31) at The Gallery of Photography, Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin.
Hofer, who used a barely-mobile four-by-five-inch viewfinder camera, came here in the Autumn of 1966 with the travel writer V. S. Pritchett for their book, Dublin: A Portrait (1967)
