My husband was phoned today by his GP’s secretary who informed him that funding for Heartwatch has been withdrawn and the service has been discontinued with immediate effect.

Anyone?

      The original English word was “fall” or “fall of the leaf”. It’s not an Americanism, funny enough. Autumn only came into popular usage from about the 18th century, and was derived from the French.
