    That’s what you get for following your sat nav. It’s definitely not the approved route into Stradbally. It’s a boreen!

      I think it is, though not into Stradbally, into the festival grounds. They put a one-way system in place, from what I recall.

        I found some real random route one year. Totally off the map. Wasn’t sure it was right until we drove right into the middle of Stradbally without seeing any traffic. Highlight of the weekend.

    I find the Dublin-Athy-Stradbally town scenic route works great, the Guards never want the traffic in the main street to build up so you fly through to the carpark closest to the town. Worked a treat last few years.

    Aaah yes Rugbyfan , one is very partial to a bit of diving , in fact I may stop in Muff Co Kildare on the way .
