Near the Convention Centre, Dublin this evening
Michael O’Riordan writes:
“The Malaysian restaurant on the North Quay is filled with smoke. Two fire engines and fire officer on scene. Expect delays on those quays…”
Update: Michael writes: “Appears not to be much. Fire officers came out annoyed, turned off lights and left. There goes my journalistic dream :)”

Dont think its smoke… Those windows have been painted white for a number of months!
the inside was definitely filled with something – I got a good look in before the two officers blocked my view. you could hardly see across the room, but the smell was more like artificial fog machines. I heard one say ‘dust bomb’ so maybe fumigation?
Those pesky officers getting in the way of a bit of rubbernecking.
:)
You’re good. Where are you staking out next?!
I was thinking of the Ha’penny Bridge in case someone tries to steal it…
