UKIP leader Nigel Farage and newly-elected UKIP MP Douglas Carswell

A barmy ex-Tory called Doug,
Is today feeling awfully smug,
He’s once more the MP,
For Clacton-On-Sea,
And he’s UKIP’s new Westminster thug.

Its about democracy, Starina, not white supremacy, or some other rubbish you’ve read in guardian.com.
One person one vote, this really isn’t tricky stuff.

When the major political parties in the UK choose to ostracise/disenfranchise, that part of the electorate, who don’t hold politically correct views. Then you get an organisation like UKIP stepping in, to fill the political vacuum.

Why does Farage always have a pint in his hand for photo shoots? Has he business interests in brewing?

Its his “man of the people, totally not establishment” schtick, despite the, you know, his completely establishment background

I spy someone who votes UKIP.

Farage loves this pint-in-the-pub, man-of-the-people crap he is selling. Completely loves it. No one is setting him up to look like a tosser, he does that on his own.

Actually, its fairly tricky to vote UKIP and be domiciled in Ireland, at the same time.

My point is fairly simple. Though I dare say people like yourself find it difficult. Let me spell it out for you.
In a democracy its one person, one vote. So low life, knuckle dragging bigots with politically incorrect opinions, have exactly the same voting rights as remarkably clever, enlightened people such as yourself.

Hard to bear. I know, but that’s the system, for what its worth, Don.

Your point was the Guardian is picking on Farage. They are not. But hey, thanks for the condescension!
