Yep, it’s those guys again, damned pentecostal Christian loolas. They’ve been quite active in the area since early this year. Milking money from the poor with little gift boxes of ‘special’ oils and other blessed gifts… that you can buy. Or as one guy put it to me on Thomas Street, it’s free, come to the Church and receive your gift of healing….*quietly said*…. and leave a donation on the day (or something to that effect).

The worst kind of scumbags are the ones who prey on a persons fears by gaining their trust and SELLING them crap on the promise that the fears may be alleviated.

Total scum. I feel sorry for the plebs in bibs selling this tripe, those guys believe this nonsense.

Mathew 6:5 – “When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.”

Oh so like Catholic Novenas of Grace?

All religions trade on the unknown.

Clampers, have you noticed the bible heads calling themselves “Galway 2.0” that are going around handing out bags of crisps and sweets to cabbies and bouncers? creepy, creepy stuff.

At last, what Ireland has been waiting for all these millenia… the arrival of Christianity?

Doesn’t state clearly which prayers. Will they be giving directions to Mecca to people who ask?

  2. Small Wonder

Yeah. Can I get 3 Hail Marys and a couple of Our Fathers? Do you have anything that’ll ward off ebola? I’m feeling a little throaty.

It’d be gas if someone who is Muslim went in for a nice oul pray towards Mecca. I’m sure these lads would have a bloody fit.

There’s a couple of other prayer stations nearby, St Catherine’s Church on Meath St, St John’s on Thomas St, St Patrick’s, Christchurch…
