BBC Spotlight’s Jennifer O’Leary speaks to Maíria Cahill, a grand-niece of republican legend Joe Cahill and investigates the republican movement’s handling of sexual abuse allegations against a suspected IRA member.
BBC One, Tuesday at 10:35pm.
So we’re referring to senior members of the Provisional IRA as ‘legends’ now are we? Wow.
I would presume that Broadsheet are pointing out that Joe Cahill would be seen as a legend by Republicans.
So people who killed and maimed also were able to morally reconcile child abuse? Didn’t see that coming.
Scumbags gonna scumbag.
