Surprised to see Rwanda up there. Also, most of the ladies in the Philippines are actually men so that figures.
Rwanda has gender quotas for election candidates and their parliament has one of the best balances in gender representation in the world. It’s a major part of what has them so high up there.
The genocide there had something to do with it – pretty drastic action just to get a bit of gender equality
