What you can’t see is that the Garda, who he met on Grindr, is inserting is index finger in the belly button and moving around slowly in a clockwise direction.

Building up a tumbleweed of bellybutton fluff, which he then surreptitiously sniffs.

Ah Fassaroe, the bane of North Wicklow. The place one usually went to locate a stolen car back in the 80’s, and subsequently the place where the residents complained in the late 90’s that they didn’t have enough car parking spaces for the new SUVs and Trucks that came off the lines during the Celtic Binge…

Alas, hard times have returned to Fassaroe where the pitchforks are at the ready to defend the white city from the detested hoard of GMC Sierra to the rebel rousing cheer of ‘Na Way We Wahnt Pay’ (sounds better in native Wicklovian)

Absolutely moronic …. Stereotyping and judging people who believe in something shows a lack of intelligence ….so if you are ever looking for you stolen car look up your arse because by the sounds of it that’s where everything is

In fairness Louie, do you mind if I call you Louie..satire usually works better if its actually funny.

      Is that still happening?
I was sure they would need the existing LUAS to actually go somewhere first, instead of giving up in waste ground after passing through a series of ghost-stations and the nowhere with the best transit links of any nowhere I have seen.

        Classic Oirish look at transport.

“Our politicians never think ahead. They’ll be building houses out in Cherrywood and there will be no public transport.”

“They’ve gone and built a Luas and, although the land it goes through will definitely be used in the future, I think they should have waited until it was all built before attempting to put infrastructure in place.”

If I was to become like you lot, and moan at every turn, I’d point out that the old Harcourt Street Line train got from Bray Daly (not Daly in those days) to Harcourt Street in twenty-four minutes. A journey that will take an hour on the new Luas. Luckily I’m not a moanbag like you lot.

The Cherrywood end of the Luas line is actually pretty well-used, there’s a good few big corporate offices there.

It’s supposed to terminate out in some fields on the opposite side of the N11. To “open up” the land, don’t ya know. The original plans didn’t have it follow the old Harcourt St. line in to Bray. There was then some talk of building a spur to Bray due to criticism that another transport project would not integrate with existing infrastructure.
Not sure where either of those plans stand at the moment. My guess is they will be re-activiated once the developers see a chance of making some money again.

Your beloved Harcourt St luas….this is where I and my children witnessed a man urinating in public ….. Glad you consider this place beloved… Hate to see the places you don’t like

LOL “We already pay twice” sign. Not in Fassaroe you don’t. Suppose it’s better then that time they upturned the Garda car (with gardai in it) who were after some joyriders back in the early nineties.

Stereotyping and judgemental comments show a lack of intellect. Stop looking at the world through blinkers. Being so narrow minded is a disgusting trait

I know fassarovians plenty well enough to make a judgement. Know a few that grew up there and got the fup out to better themselves, but the ones that remained… Yeh I’m happy to judge them.

ukip congratulates fassaroe on claiming independence and wishes them best in collecting their own taxes to pay for everything they need in life. long live free fassaroe.

Wel I thought the fair people of Wicklow let the Vikings in, the water meter guys would be a pushover.

    Lucky escape for the contractors.
The woman on the right was done for shop lifting in the early 80’s.
She lifted a Woolworth’s in Belfast about 2 feet off it’s foundations.
    Howsaboutya Marie? :D

Pity she is not able to come and lift you…. Once a believer always a believer …its nice to have a belief “COME ON THE MARIE..POWER TO THE PEOPLE”

  5. General Apathy

In case you are interested; the guy with his hands in his pockets, who is not organising this spontaneous peaceful protest by ‘the people’, is the local SF hack.
