Harumph! Wrong! Everyone knows that the biggest waves ever surfed are off Donegal/Clare/Mayo. It was in the papers. Must alert Fáilte Ireland to this “creative marketing” by Tourism Portugal.
….Nazaré should twin with Bundoran…the only difference between the two places is the sunshine.
I once surfed.
Couple if those are 60′ plus, thats as big as makaha or st nazaire.
This same spot is reported to produce 100′ waves.
Closest we get to that is mullaghmore or aileens off the cliffs of moher
