Greater Dublin region. We allow the boggers in if it suits us but only kinda in. We don’t want more of them here.

Good ole Garda Siochana, masquerading as a normal state police force while really just doing the dirty work of establishment politicians and those who control Irish society to protect the power and wealth of the few.

When we were in 2nd year circa 1994, the hhnnnGGGarrrrdaíííí came in and said hash was actually camel poo and that people got high off smoking it because they give heroin to camels in the middle east. I have since tested this theory at length and according to my notes, the new season of Big Bang Theory is very funny and we are almost out of extra hot spicy salsa dip.

so if a kid asked the copper about people advocating breaking the law by not paying their taxes; should the copper:

    a. lie
    b. tell the truth

or c. get all indignant about it and post it on Twitbook

You see I read something completely different to you it seems but your non-analogous analogy has me utterly convinced. You win!

One of the protestors who’d been arrested and spoke last night outside the department of justice said the Gardai claimed he could be sentenced to life for his actions. They apparently told the 16-year old boy that they coudl prove he was the ringleader.

One story like this, and you think “yeah, right”, but two or three and you begin to see a pattern.

In fairness if you read Erika Brennan’s original post it appears that a child in the class asked a question about Irish Water. The guard was there to talk about cyber bullying. Mind you I’m not sure I quite understand how you get from there to telling them that there was no point in people protesting, that we all have to pay and anyone protesting would be arrested. It seems someone lost the run of themselves at the very least.
